Birdhouse Shrines & Tiny Easter Eggs + Birds Collage Sheets on SALE!

Filed under Collage Sheets, Easter, Fairy Garden, Miniatures, Nichola Battilana, Rhonda Secrist Thomas, Shannon Cooper

I’ve brought back the Mini Birdhouse Shrine (and there’s flurry of new nests & eggs below plus 2 contrasting projects as inspiration).

Speaking of inspiration… you may not know that the shrine was inspired by the Simple Things House Nichola Battilana (at far right). So there’s another idea for a sweet early spring project! (Sorry but this project is ages old and all the papers and paper flowers in it have long since sold out… but there are lots of flowers and images on sale below.)

Back to the Mini Birdhouse Shrine. First up is The Dark Shrine by Shannon Cooper: there’s a big change of style! Note that the Loopy Chipboard Scroll Corners Shannon used as roof trim is also back in stock today. Here’s a bit from Shannon’s blog post as intro:

The Mini Birdhouse Shrine fit nicely on top of two Window Boxes with Gothic Facades with room left over for a perimeter of black and red roses.

Most everything was painted black, but a collage sheet image was glued to the back to lighten things up a bit.

Aside: I started laughing when I read that bit, as the collage sheet image that is “lightening things up” shows a woman with her head in her hands. weeping over a fallen knight.

Great job, Shannon! So clever to use 2 of the window boxes as a shrine base! Read more and see more photos (with a tutorial!) on Shannon’s blog post or view the supply list.

NEXT, a whole different look and feel: Enchanted Dreams by Rhonda Secrist!

Time for a little escape to my back woods. I noticed a little girl there the other day, having a wonderful enchanted dream with some robins in a Mini Birdhouse Shrine. The moss has grown up all around it, making it very cozy. Warm on a rainy day and cool on a hot day. That is why I love my woods so much. A quiet escape, despite the thousands of 17 year cicadas that are taking over soon.

Using the Spring Green Lichen Mix made it super easy to cover all of the bird house edges and also helped to make an extra cozy nest. It can be found on the Alpha Stamps web site as well as other “ground” coverings like the Green Turf Grass I used and more. The extra bonus is that the moss growing at the bottom of my tree is almost a perfect match with the others that I used.

The variegated rose buds Rhonda used are also back in stock (in a slightly different color combo). Read more and see more photos on Rhonda’s blog post or view the supply list.

Eggs! (And nests!)

There’s a new Tiny Egg Carton! A tiny little (1:12 scale) version of an egg carton (laser-cut and scored from tan cardstock — including the insert for dividers).

Shown at far right with Miniature Eggs and beads from a new 4mm Matte Easter Eggs Bead Mix (some of the blue beads from that mix are also shown below in the new Tiny Bird Nest).

BONUS: I made a tiny vintage egg carton label sized for the lid! Just save the jpeg at left.

More NEW or Back-in-Stock Supplies

NEW Big Top Circus Wagon + Tiny Stars & Hardware – 25% off SALE!

Filed under Altered Tins, Connie Littell, Kristin Batsel, Mini Hardware, Pierrot/Harlequin/Carnival, Shannon Cooper

How cute is this?! Design Team Member Connie Littell made a Big Top Circus Wagon from an Altoids Tin (and lots of tiny trims) and has lots of tips in her blog post:

When I first saw the Altoids Tin Wheels they loudly screamed CIRCUS WAGON to me! I’ve done a few circusy things in the past, mostly sideshow related and this time I decided to create a scene straight out of the big top tent’s center stage.

To get started on altering an Altoid tin I remove the lid and set it aside for another project. Before decorating I always sand the tin’s surfaces both inside and out. Kristin Batsel has a fabulous tutorial on how to decorate an Altoid tin so if you need a refresher on the basics it can be found right here.

I decided to orient the tin horizontally and needed a stage inside so used an Altoids Shelf Insert – 3-5/8 Inch Wide. Alpha stamps also carries a 2-1/4 Inch Wide version if you are ever inspired to craft something inside a tin that’s oriented vertically.

Mini Baby Elephants are center stage. They need a podium to stand on and I had a few options that all would have fit inside the tin and worked nicely. I decided on some round vintage game tokens I had in my stash and painted them ivory, red and turquoise…

That larger elephant pulling the wagon is new and shown below (below the wide photo with a close-up of the inside and a view of the back).

Here’s Connie’s supply list (all in today’s sale, too). And check below for even more circus art and supplies!

More Artwork (Circus and Tiny People) — with Back-in-Stock Supplies

Design Team Member Kristin Batsel made this fab Matchbox Circus and the Matchbox Sized Faux Book Box used to house this TINY creation is back in stock (only 2-1/4″ tall)!

First, the cover. I put alphabet stickers spelling out the word “circus” on a piece of paper and then cut it out to make a sign for the elephant to hold. Stars add a bit of sparkle. The letters on the spine of the “book” were cut from a collage sheet.

When you open the box, there’s a tiny circus performance going on. Or perhaps it’s dress rehearsal, seeing as the seats aren’t yet filled.

I painted the tiniest of people (also back in stock!) to create a wee trapeze artist and a ringmaster. I used the thinnest of brushes and the strongest of magnifying glasses to paint these performers. The trapeze artist is perched on her swing, which is actually a thin piece of wire, bent to shape. She’s attached to her perch with a little white glue. The baby elephant’s blanket is a piece of ribbon, cut to size and glued on.

See the original post for more photos, and here’s a link to see all her supplies.

One more related project: Design Team Member Shannon Cooper’s tiny Bus Stop, 1950.

First of all, for scale, yes that little scene is inside an Altoids Tin lid (filled with Green Turf Grass… with some yellow “leaves” from sprinkles of fluff from the tree). I’m not sure what Shannon used as leaves, but some I’ve added Mini Fall Leaves, which would work well for tiny “leaves” in this scale. Oh, and there’s a new tree (similar size) with orange “fruit” added today, too.

The people and the bench (both back in stock) are 1:48 scale (and the other items pressed into service look right at home in this 1/4 scale scene).

One last thing: Shannon used a tiny round bead for her “Bus Stop” sign… the back-in-stock Black Alphabet Beads would be a perfect size substitute.

See the original post for more photos, and here’s a link to see all her supplies. And right below the photos are back-in-stock supplies from both of these projects (also in the sale)!

New Tin Inserts, Roses, FREE Gift – 25% off Masquerade SALE!

Filed under Altered Tins, Flowers, Pierrot/Harlequin/Carnival, Shannon Cooper

You may remember this beautiful Mysterious Masquerade Altered Tin that Design Team Member Shannon Cooper made a few year’s ago. I’ve added a new Altoids Insert Quatrefoil similar to the panel Shannon used in the background (and you can just make out a masked lady hiding behind that screen). Psst: there’s a related new Altoids Insert Moroccan farther below.

There’s also a flurry of new mulberry paper flowers today, inspired by the colors in Shannon’s tin.

The main image is from the The Secret Collage Sheet.

How regal with that crown (actually just a piece of a Chipboard Fleur Border, bent into a curve and attached to the top of an Altoid’s Tin)!

And see that swirly frame at the bottom of the tin (framing the “Mysterious” text)? That’s from the Fairy Tale Frames Altoid Inserts Set (a big set with 3 options of inserts & matching frames).

BONUS: the scrapbook paper Shannon used is long sold out, but I made a tiny text “MYSTERIOUS” sized for the same frame. Click on the preview at right for the 300 dpi version.

Here’s Shannon’s supply list (all in today’s sale, too). And check out the first row of items directly below: all new or back in stock!

Such pretty colors! Plus a tin insert related to the Quatrefoil above: Moroccan.

And see the mix of purple tiny roses at right: that’s a combo of plum and the new lilac and medium purple (and all are included in the sale)!

FOUR Punch & Judy Theaters + New Florals – 25% off SALE!

Filed under Laura Carson, Lora Mahaffey, Nichola Battilana, Paper Dolls/Theatres, Pink Valentine Theatre Kit, Teri Calia

From a classic English Punch & Judy show to a pink & gold kitty cat stage (and a theatre with side box seats… AND a silly theatre with Cupid playing matchmaker to vampires) — so much variety from the back-in-stock Punch & Judy Theatre. Plus many of the projects also use the back-in-stock Arch Top and Peaked Roof facades.

Check below for some new spring foliage, too — those and all the artwork supply lists are in the new sale collection.

Starting with the classic Punch & Judy Theater by Nichola Battilana:

I do love Punch & Judy! One of the longest and unhappiest marriages has brought joy to others for 350 years now: Punch and Judy, the battling puppet duo, for whom the term “slapstick” was coined from their constant marital wars.

And lucky for me (and you): Nichola is also fond of that battling duo:

If you aren’t familiar with Punch and Judy it’s a sort of violent puppet show which can be dated back to just before the 1700’s, reaching a height of popularity during the Victorian era. More recently, they have a bit of a shout out in Gone Girl.

To make this piece I began with the Punch & Judy Theatre kit. Then covered it in striped paper. I’ve actually added two headers here. One attached to the rear from the Punch & Judy Theater Collage Sheet. A second one on the front of the the theatre from The Grand Guignol Collage Sheet. I think it gives a good feeling of frantic fun, perfectly suited to Punch and Judy.

Here’s a link to everything in Nichola’s supply list AND a link to her blog post (with more photos & details like the movable characters). Note: use my supply link as her post was before we moved the site.

Pussy Cat Theatre by Teri Calia

Oh my… Teri Calia has merged her (hm… obsession?) love of cats with the chipboard theatre to make this Pussy Cat Theatre!

In addition to the overall cuteness (and putting cat heads on the figures on either side of the stage!), I’d like to point out the lights: See the bottom right of the photo for how Teri hid a Mini String of Fairy Lights in the recessed area behind the facade.

See the original post for more photos, and here’s a link to see all her supplies.

The Shakespeare Theater Presents A Midsummer’s Night Dream

Laura Carson has made a colorful (and fancy) paper theatre, The Shakespeare Theater Presents A Midsummer’s Night Dream, from the Punch & Judy Theatre (in the center, along with an Arch Top Theatre Facade), plus a big bunch of images from collage sheets and print-outs of digital image sets.

The center of the theatre is the 3D item: the box seat on the sides are flat chipboard and paper. Laura bent the 2 print-outs at the bottom of the box seats so they would bow out a little, giving the appearance that the sides are as dimensional as the center.

See the original post for more photos, and here’s a link to see all her supplies.

Cupid Matchmaking Vampires?… It must be Opera

Bwaa… Haa… Haa… Lora Mahaffey has made a delightful paper theatre called Cupid Matchmaking Vampires?…It must be Opera from the Marionnette Theatre Collage Sheet and Arch Top Theatre Facade (backed with shallower shadowboxes than the 3D theatre).

AND (beside Lora’s witty text — and a tutorial on putting the piece together) Lora has also provided a free pdf so you can make your own speech bubbles and title for the top (and a tiny coffin template)! Just click on the small image of the pdf file at right to download the hi-res version.

Lora has bumped up the (already bright colors) on all the collage sheet images with Copic markers and colored pencils. I love the curtains she added to the sides of the stage (there were already curtains in the Marionnette Theatre image, but she replaced them with curtains from the Gatefold Square Shrine Curtains Collage Sheet (and added extra color and Stickles glitter).

See the original post for more photos, and here’s a link to see all her supplies.

More NEW or Back-in-Stock Supplies

Such pretty colors (the Gothic Bat or Gargoyle is odd man out, but he’d be perfect at the top of a spooky Halloween theatre)! And see the NEW White Resin Pigeons or Doves at left! (I’m just showing 1 of each size as comparison. They come in 1:12 or 1:24 scales and there’s a set of 5 mixed poses in both sets.)

Punch & Judy Theaters SALE

A couple more collage sheets designed to fit the full size Punch & Judy Theatre are below — AND I’ve added the cute Half Scale Punch & Judy Theatre to the sale, too!

Over 30 items are on sale, including:
all the new & back-in-stock items,
– the Half Scale Punch & Judy Theatre I just mentioned,
– AND all of the supplies from the projects above: Punch & Judy Theater, Pussy Cat Theatre, The Shakespeare Theater Presents A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Cupid Matchmaking Vampires?…It must be Opera. (Those are links to the individual supply lists.)

New Easter Hutch Artwork & Miniatures – 25% off SALE!

Filed under Connie Littell, Easter, New Furniture, Shadowbox/Room Box

Easter Hutch by Connie Littell

Did you recognize the new Arch Top Facade Bookcase – Short sitting on the new Fancy Wooden Coffee Table? Connie painted them the same color and they look like they’re one hutch.

And look at all the cute pastel candies and cookies in those shelves! From Connie’s blog post:

(In the bottom shelf) a cookie bouquet was made by gluing flat toothpicks to the backs of a few finished cookies. (Note: Connie explains how to make the cookies, too.) Those got placed inside a Tiny Wooden Flower Pot painted pink and white along with a couple of the 3/4 Inch Multicolor Lollipops. So cute!

To the left of the cookie bouquet you’ll find one of the 1 Inch Oval Faux Wicker Basket w 2 Handles holding a 3/4 Inch Rabbit watching over some dyed polymer clay eggs. Everything is nestled in Mini Easter Basket Grass.

Jumping up one shelf: I can’t resist working with a 1:12 Gingerbread House and since Alpha Stamps carries so many cute polymer clay slices it was so much fun to make an Easter version.

I love the window awnings Connie made from egg shells! There’s a close-up of the house below (along with the items on the top of the hutch — including a clever sweets box made from one of crates from the new Skinny Chunky Crate Set).

See more photos and tips on Connie’s blog post and here’s the supply list (part of today’s sale, too).

More New Supplies

Aw… starting with the Pink Rooster and Hen Figurines and 5-Piece Jadite Place Setting at left: soooo tiny! Connie used the pink set in her hutch (and I love the color combo with the green plates).

Then there’s the taller version of the bookcase in the hutch art (and a wider set of the new chunky crates). Plus 2 options for tiny pastel “candies” for Easter.

See all the new & back in stock items in one group.

Filling Easter Baskets Room Box (also by Connie)

This is such a sweet (and happily colorful) project for spring. A few of today’s back-in-stock minis inspired me to add this second Filling Easter Baskets Room Box project to the Easter inspiration (and the sale)!

I used a Small Trinket Shelf Stand to display the finished baskets. It comes with a drawer that fits at the bottom. I chose to leave it out in order to give myself more room to display everything. Before assembling it, I used the rear wall as a template for the paper on the top shelf.

I added two of the 1:12 Shelves on the right wall of the 7×7 Corner Room Box, and framed a few sweet bunny prints using the Mini Frames Set and images cut from the Peter Rabbit and Bigger Bunnies collage sheets.

Beside the photo at right, see even more photos on the original blog post (though check back here cuz I’ve added new Easter options as substitutes for some sold out items).

Returning to the artwork: two back-in-stock supplies in Connie’s artwork are just below. AND everything in Connie’s Filling Easter Baskets Supply List is on sale (more info farther below).

Easter Hutch & Filling Easter Baskets SALES

Wow! The sale includes:
all the new & back-in-stock items,
– AND all of the supplies from the projects above: Easter Hutch and Filling Easter Baskets (those are links to the individual supply lists),
– AND 4 bonus resin baskets linked below! More basket options (beyond the cute little 1 Inch Oval Faux Wicker Basket w 2 Handles Connie used on the bottom shelf of the Easter Hutch, shown at right).

There’s a new AUTOMATIC DISCOUNT for an extra 25% off the listed prices! You’ll see the discount in your cart — no code required! The discount applies to BOTH collections!

Fairy Wardrobe, Hats & Shoes, Pots & Pans – 25% off SALE!

Filed under Fairy Garden, Miniatures, Nichola Battilana

Lots of new girlie pink things (bows & floral berries… and tiny shoes) inspired me to revisit this cute Fairy Godmother’s Wardrobe by Nichola Battilana!

I thought of a magical portal, storage for a saucy burlesque star, something pink and filly and Marie Antoinette. Why not all rolled up into one?! A fairy godmother wardrobe!

There are books about magic and kissing frogs and toads, a tea pot and postcard memories. Godmotherly magazines. Pumpkins appear throughout.

Nichola created a Fairy Godmother’s Cupboard Collage Sheet with all the paper items, book covers, magazines, postcards, photos, labels, and posters inside the cabinet!

Note that the wooden hat stand in the photo is back in stock (with a clever star crown Nichola perched on top)!

In addition to ALL of today’s new and back-in-stock items, I added the supplies from Nichola’s project to a NEW Fairy Wardrobe SALE collection with an AUTOMATIC DISCOUNT for an extra 25% off the listed prices! You’ll see the discount in your cart — no code required!

Or BOWS?

New Landscaping for Spring, Altoid Tin Trims – 25% off SALE!

Filed under Alice in Wonderland, Altered Tins, Easter, Grimms' Fairy Tales, Kristin Batsel, Laura Carson, Lora Mahaffey

A little Valentine’s Day, a little Easter (or tiny landscaping for a spring miniatures project) — and a BIG bunch of savings: 25% off!

The first sale is EVERYTHING Altoids Tin Themed (such a useful group of goodies… from collage sheets to the tins themselves and chipboard inserts in various themes).

Those fun Rectangular Resin Heart Tarts shown at right reminded me of a cute project using the same by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel: Alice at Tea (highlighted directly below). Plus I’ve brought back the Altoids Tin Insert Frames – Alice in that artwork!

All of today’s new items AND TWO more art projects are included in the second sale group! (Even more chipboard trims in those projects are back in stock, too.) BOTH sales use the same COUPON CODE (more info below for an extra 25% off)!

Alice at Tea
by Kristin Batsel

The base of the tin is made from letters from an old spelling game, the porcelain hand on top holds a tasty looking tart, and is surrounded by the White Rabbit’s pocket watch and a key. To adhere all of those items I used Apoxie Sculpt.

The Cheshire Cat insert from the Altoid Tin Insert Frames – Alice set and it is great for adding extra dimension. The details on the trees and cat were done with colored pencils, while the insert border was painted to match the color of the background paper I chose. I used a tiny brush to apply bright white paint to accent the cat’s eyes and teeth.

Here’s Kristin’s supply list (part of today’s sale, too).

We’re All Mad Here Altered Tin
by Lora Mahaffey

I completely agree with Lora: “this red, black and white theme — very eye catching!”

(After painting my tin black) I glued my pre-cut papers on the tin and then I glued little corks on the back of my Alice to bring her forward in the tin, and did the same for a couple of the paper roses so that they were at different depths inside the tin. The corks work out well as they are light weight and tapered and easy to work with.

Breaking in here briefly: great idea about the corks! Plus they’re tall (thicker than sticky foam) so you can get Alice to pop out to the front of the tin quicker.

I added Dresden Trim to the outside edge of the tin, then glued the insert on to the top edge of the tin. after that dried, I glued on the Loopy Altoids Topper (back in stock) to the top and let it dry.

Here’s Lora’s supply list and see more of her tutorial on her blog post.

Grimm’s Fairy Tarot

This is such a great idea! Laura Carson made fairy tale tarot cards and a pretty tin to house them (made from an Altoids Tin and the Fairy Tale Frames Altoid Inserts Set).

As Laura says in her blog post:

I was racking my brain trying to think of some kind of interesting twist on the Grimm theme and the idea of fate popped into my mind. I decided to expand the theme beyond Snow White by including other Grimm fairy tales which in turn led to the idea of making Tarot cards.

For me the best part of the project was choosing the images for each card (there were so many to choose from). My favorites are Red Riding Hood as The Fool, Puss in Boots as the Knight of Swords and Sleeping Beauty pricking her finger as the Wheel of Fortune.

Hm… I think Rapunzel as The Hermit is a witty choice, too.

And don’t you fret about making your own set, Laura is giving away the collage sheet with the labels for the entire deck (although she only made 15 cards, as that number would fit in an Altoids Tin). AND she has a good suggestion/link to a past tutorial on hinging 2 tins together to make room for more cards.

Laura is also giving away the little snippet of text she designed (“TAROT”) to coordinate with the words “GRIMM’S” and “FAIRY” from the Grimm Covers #3 Collage Sheet so you can recreate her cover title.

So… ready to start thinking up your own Grimm’s Fairy Tarot? Before you begin, head over to Laura’s blog to read more tips. As we moved sites since the original post, remember to use this link for all the supplies Laura used and be sure to come back for info on the sale on all her supplies.

Fairy Dust Bottles, Lamps & Miniature Vanities

Filed under Bella Ayers, Fairy Garden, Filigree, Laura Carson, Mini Hardware, New Furniture

Fairy dust bottles?! Cute (brightly colored) resin bottles in lots of colors. The lids can’t be removed but add a label and start decorating for spring! There’s even some tiny 3D butterflies shown below (and back in stock) that you could perch on the edge.

There’s also a Matchbox Vanity Table that’s back in stock today, with 2 art examples (one with a fairy theme)!

All of today’s new items are also included in the new sale collection — don’t forget the sale COUPON CODE noted below for an extra 20% off! That even includes items on clearance!

Fairy Magic Vanity
by Kimberly Ayers

Oh! I love the Fairy Magic Vanity that Kim Ayers made with the Matchbox Vanity Table! (A 1:12 scale vanity made to use 6 Diamond brand matchboxes as the drawers.) The top is split to hinge about 1/2″ from the back wall (and opens like a vintage school desk) so you can hide items inside and open the lid without running into the fancy mirror frame/detailing on the back.

Kim used the same Matchbox Drawer Fronts Collage Sheet as the second project below (though you’d hardly know as the 2 designs are so unique). The spot for an oval mirror is completely covered with moss and roses (and below it has a faux mirror with the back in stock Nonbreakable Mirror Material).

I had to include another photo (left) to show the top of the vanity open — and what an array of bottles & canisters are hidden in that secret compartment:
6 or 12 Tiny Glass Bottles
Even Tinier Bottles
White Resin Condiment Bottle
Metal Paint Can with Lid
Amber Resin Potions Bottle
Fairy Apothecary Collage Sheet (labels)

That rusty filigree piece on the front of the vanity is made from paper clay and the Silicone Mold – Architectural Flourishes. If you’re out of time, I also added the Wide Brass Filigree Header to the sale (as a pre-made option).

Here’s Kim’s supply list (part of today’s sale, too). Some highlights from the supplies are shown below in the sale section.

Vanity from a Steampunk Boudoir by Laura Carson

See what I mean? You might not realize this vanity is made from the same chipboard kit.

This is a small part of the entire Steampunk Boudoir Laura made. You can see more info here but be sure to use my supply list link (plus I made a special link for just the vanity).

Here’s some highlights:
Raw Brass Box Feet – Cones (clever… Laura used 2 of them on each side of the mirror as the bottom of her lights)

New Wheels & Shrines on Wheels

Filed under Fairy Garden, Kristin Batsel, Nichola Battilana, Shadowbox/Room Box

My inspiration for all these wheeled projects is the new set of Altoids Tin Wheels (shown at left with a Altoids Shelf Insert – 3-5/8 Inch Wide). The wheels are so cute! Made to fit a Blank Altoids Tin (actually a tin with the lid removed).

As they are 2 separate sets (2 wheels with tabs, a horizonal piece connecting the 2 sides, and a dowel), they can be used with the tin standing tall, too.

Then I remembered that multiple Design Team projects involved adding wheels to the Square Shrine Shadowbox — 3 examples are below (all with different themes and sizes of wheels). PLUS even more wheel options below in the sale section.

All of the new items AND the artwork supply lists are included in a new sale collection — don’t forget the sale COUPON CODE noted below for an extra 20% off!

Rolling Wagons (in 3 styles)!

Nichola Battilana made a brace of Thistle Wagons for you to enjoy. (One highlighted here, both shown on the original post.)

The Thistle Wagons are a forest-y version of the Fairy Godmother Travelling Sales Wagon (shown below).

The base is a Square Shrine Shadowbox to which I have added 2 Inch Spoked Wheels. For the Thistle Wagons, I decided to adorn the top of them with Floral Chipboard Border Strips and some Feathery Flourishes.

Inside the wagon, all manner of items that a forest fairy, sprite, or occasional goblin may like. Roses to turn into a lovely jelly, potions, small pinecones (good eating and helps to sharpen goblin teeth on), mushrooms and keys that unlock enchanted places.

Here’s Nichola’s Thistle Wagons Supply List. PLUS I added 3 more fairy-themed collage sheets to the sale (see the 2nd row directly below).

Fairy Godmother Travelling Sales Wagon

Oh! Here’s that second project by Nichola — such a different style and still in a fairy theme. The base is the same Square Shrine Shadowbox but this time with Tiny Fancy Wheels.

There’s a special place in my heart for fairy godmothers. Those fluttery, frilly, silly ladies make me positively giddy. I’ve often wondered where they get their godmotherly supplies from. Is there a shop? A fancy boutique? A travelling salesman!

And so I’ve created a tiny travelling sales wagon with magical and glittery godmother paraphernalia. I’ve added Floral and Lace Border Strips for some flourish and a Mini Chipboard Crest heralds potential customers.

Inside the wagon, all manner of items required for godmotherly duties. Fairy dust, candy, pumpkins to turn into carriages; as well as Absinthe and stout to whet the pallet!”

Other themes that would be awesome in the “wagon” are a travelling bakery, quack medicine, or how about a travelling bar?

Here’s Nichola’s Fairy Godmother Travelling Sales Wagon Supply List (part of today’s sale, too).

Zebra Circus Wagon by Kristin Batsel

That clever girl used the Square Shrine Shadowbox upside down, so the header is a base for the wheels! Kristin added more chipboard to the “upside down header” to support the wheels, so check out her blog post for details. Note: as we moved to a new Web site since that post, the product links on Kristin’s site no longer work. So use this Supply List link.

Kristin added the Cirque Theatre Shadowbox Facade to the front of the shrine (plus the matching Cirque Shadowbox Facades Collage Sheet).

“I got the zebra from my local Michaels store, and then dressed her up for her circus debut. I painted her hooves glittery red with Stickles, and then gave her a ruffle made of pom pom fringe. I also used Stickles to create little red jewels on her crown. She’s so fancy! I added a little 3D trim to the Cirque facade: some black and white braid and some gold star studs.”

Here’s Kristin’s Zebra Circus Wagon Supply List. PLUS I added a zillion (!) collage sheets sized for the Square Shadowbox to the sale (see the 2nd row directly below for a preview).

More NEW or Back-in-Stock Supplies

Lots of good stuff here… a zebra in honor of Kristin’s artwork. And not too early for Easter bunnies!

Psst… There’s one more new item: a playing card set, shown below in the Gift Kit as it’s FREE with orders!
