Christmas Market Stall by Laura Carson!

Yay! A new 1:12 Scale Market Stall! We’ve been needing a 1:12 scale stall kit.

This stall has lots of shelves and display space for showing off tiny treats: 5-1/2″ deep x 5″ wide on a 7-1/2″ deep x 6″ wide base (the stall is flush with the back so 2″ of base is usable at front and 1/2″” on left and right sides). The stall tabs into the base so you can’t move the stall around on the base. Overall height is 11″.

The front counter is 3″ off the ground (3″ from the top of the base) and includes an extra counter top piece to add depth to the front edge.

I love the Christmas Market Stall Laura has made with the new kit! Here’s a bit of intro text from Laura’s blog post (which includes a tutorial!):

The stall has four deep shelves which I loaded with all kinds of Christmas decorations using beads, charms, paper images, boxes of ornaments, mini trees, snowmen, Santas, and nutcrackers.

I made (multiple) wreaths out of pine stems, candy canes, snowflake sequins and polymer clay slices. [Psst: there’s a wide photo below with a close-up of one of the wreaths.]

Laura covered the stall with papers from the 2 Hello Christmas Paper Pads and some tiny prints from the Christmas Pets 6×6 Paper Pad. And I love the new tiny scalloped borders across the front of the counter and the front of the base.

Keep reading: I’ve picked out a few things to show close-ups of from Laura’s project! Starting with the wreath at the top of the stall (using a new gingerbread house button in the center of the wreath) and a preview of Laura’s tutorial for making a tiny ribbon bow!

See below for a finished view and a couple in-process photos of a stand Laura made (brilliant idea: straight pins and a drinking straw!) to be filled with tons of tiny tree trims.

For the counter, I build a display stand to accommodate all of the cute ornaments made of glass balls filled with glitter, candy canes, polymer clay slices, charms, beads, and other mini holiday themed resin bits and bobs.

Just one more close-up photo, and it’s a tie for my favorite mini-scenes:
– The snowman and 3D tree (from the Tiny Christmas Shape Set) with the new (larger) sandwich board (decorated with icicles from a new tiny set)
– The little “tree, package & nutcracker group” to the right of the stall (using trees and packages from the Tiny Trees, Gifts & Ornaments Collage Sheet and one of the new Nutcracker Clear Stickers).

Woo! See below for photos of all of the new items. Plus here’s Laura’s supply list and you can see more photos in her blog post!

What else is new today?

(Beside the stall inself, already shown above). And all the goodies shown below are in Laura’s artwork, too!

Now don’t forget: use Promo Code: BF2020 when checking out for 20% off everything! Ends Tuesday night!
