NEW Witches’ Coven Potluck Artwork & Sale!

October?! Not that the heat is letting up yet…
Today we have a fun Coven Potluck by Connie Littell! Connie turned a Workshop Table into a buffet and filled it with tons of treats (I personally love the eyeball tartlets) and there are tips to make those and lots of the other foods in her blog post.
Here’s a bit from that post: “The lower shelf of the buffet is designated for sweets. Those include some Tall Chocolate Cupcakes with Spider, a Mini Pie with Bats and a Mini Spiderweb Pie sitting on a 25mm Round Raw Brass Filigree Setting.”
I made a miniature version of those shortbread witch finger cookies you see at Halloween parties that use almonds for the fingernails. I rolled out green polymer clay to finger length, added some texture where the knuckles would be then gave them a brush of brown pastel chalk. Beige fingernails were added before baking. Once cool, I literally painted the nails with red polish. They fit perfectly inside a White Ceramic Serving Tray.
Oh… and see those close-ups in the wide photo below: that skeleton charcuterie board is so great (with the tiny black spiders and new snakes crawling amongst the polymer clay food) and the new Black Plastic Cauldron with Handle has a 12mm Skull Bead encased in green resin set inside!
