This 6×6 Simple Market Stall is a nice, compact size (but look at all the details like skylights, a built-in bookcase/shelving and open sides.

Wow! This is going to be a wonderful project! Connie is breaking up her stall project into 2 blog posts… this first one covers the structure and making the prayer candles and crystal balls on one shelf…

Here’s a bit from Connie’s blog post:
I’ve got a pretty big project I’ve been working on for a while featuring a brand new setting from Alpha Stamps. I’ve turned the new 6×6 Simple Market Stall into a shop full of enchanted wares and it’s been lots of fun figuring out how to make all the tiny magical things to include in the display. There are so many shelves and bins to fill! Here’s a Part 1 preview, the final project will follow shortly.
What I love most about this new piece is it’s modular. There are both short and long counters for the sides and front. I’ve chosen to use both a 3 Inch Tall Counter and a 5 Inch Side Counter. I already have another idea for this market stall that uses one of the 5 inch counters across the front.
Skipping down a bit to how Connie made those faux candles…
I cut soap into tiny bits and filled the jars. I used a few Tiny Glass Bottles, the new 40mm Tube Glass Bottle, a 9×17mm Glass Tube Vase and a 12x23mm Glass Tube Vase. The filled jars went into a small jelly jar I had in my stash and right into the microwave. I was concerned the soap may spill over (and it did on my first try) so the jelly jar was to collect spillage. I finally settled on checking the jars every 3 seconds at full microwave power and it worked like a charm!

Oooh! Ahhh! Pretty new wooden display pieces, both with curvy details (and that one at left with a working drawer). I used a few of the new Halloween things in the photo (Mini Resin Gargoyle on Stand and Resin Raven on Skull, and the Short Glass Cloche with Cork Base which isn’t specifically for Halloween).
Beside the new props shown, the older things I used are on sale too! (Like the metal owl that I painted black (it fits in the new Short Glass Cloche with Cork Base.)

New Tiny Houses & Tiny Halloween Trims!

Sweet! These cute little cubby houses came in this week (see the two white ones at right). And so did some miniature Halloween (and non-Halloween) trims… one thing led to another (some black spray paint was involved) and the little Halloween shrines below just happened!
Both house shrines are about 3-1/8″ tall. (Tiny!)

Holly Jolly Christmas House by Kristin Batsel
Kristin used the House Ornament, and lots of the coordinating add-ons (like window trims, dormers, and a tiny fence) — all of those are included in today’s sale!
I love the way Kristin’s little house turned out! So cheery and inviting. Good thing she provided a tutorial, too! For things like how to apply tissue paper behind tiny windows and leaving room to glue down all your little items (like the peppermint stepping stones).
“This little house stands only about 3” tall, not counting the base. It was made from a kit, and if you read on through to the bottom of my post, I’ll talk about how it was put together. Meanwhile, here are some more photos. The tiny family who lives here sure did a good job of decorating the tallest tree! It’s easy to attach the beads; I just dipped them in some tacky glue and stuck them into the branches. Note: I substituted Mixed Color Acrylic Pearls – 3mm-8mm for the original beads as they’re the same sizes.
“You can totally fence your house in, or you can use an xacto knife to cut a little gate. I think it looks nice to have an open gate with the pathway leading to the front door.”

New Christmas Trims on SALE plus Sugar & Spice Peppermint Tin!

And a new beautiful snowy and peppermint-filled shrine is perfect eye candy!

Sugar & Spice Peppermint Tin by Connie Littell
So sweet! Isn’t this a delightful (and colorful) little scene?! Here’s a bit from Connie’s blog post:
I chose to feature a sweet design of a little girl baking cookies from the Sweet Christmas Collage Sheet set inside an Altoid Tin. I always go back to refer to the fantastic tutorial Kristin Batsel did for decorating tins any time I need to make one. I encourage you to go take a peek! Before gluing the image in place, I roughed up the tin’s surface with sandpaper and blackened the interior corners with a Sharpie.
Once the tin was covered, it was embellished with a Double Layer Window Insert painted white. Topping that off is one of the new Snowflake Tin Toppers painted red & white and embellished with a few of the new 8mm Glass Peppermint Cabs.
The finished tin sits on a 3 Cubbies Block (and then the entire pyramid is sitting on a House Ornament Base). The decorations on the inside of the cubbies are from the Cookie Cutters Embellishments Set that I backed with silver glitter scrapbook paper.
Cute snowman assemblages were made by stacking and gluing a selection from new beads onto a round toothpick: 12mm Chunky Snowman Beads, 12mm Red and White Striped Beads and Red & White 16mm Snowflake Bead Mix.
Look at his little sweater! This top hat was made from the Mixed Size Black Flat Disc and a slice of dowel painted black. The other hat features a bead from the new Red & Green Baubles Bead Mix (also used on the tops of the trees). The combinations for making these adorable little fellas are endless!

How about an Even Larger Snowflake Topper?
The new Narrow Shrine Shadowbox is the same height and depth as the Square Shrine Shadowbox but a narrower width (made to match the proportions of a Blank Altoids Tin… and for the width of the new Large Snowflake Topper).
