Easter & Halloween; Tins & Digitals on Sale!

Filed under Altered Tins, Art Projects, Easter, Halloween, Kristin Batsel, Miniatures, Sale

I know… what a contrast (Easter and Halloween)! But really, I promise this will all make sense.

So this started with Design Team Member Kristin Batsel’s adorable tin at left (Lotsa Rabbits, an Altered Tin)

Between that cute tin and some new Halloween things that just arrived (odd timing but they are really cute), I also remembered another tin Kristin made with a Halloween theme (which is featured down in today’s Giveaway). So the 2 tins led to a new Altoids Tins Collection, which is now on sale!

I should say added to the sales, as ALL the digitals are still on sale: collage sheets (digital downloads only but wow! there are over 1300 options!) and digital images (singles or sets in PNG format) on sale at 50% off. If you’re locked away (as we all should be… and: wash your hands!) you can grab a quick digital image to work on an art project and forget for a bit.

More info on what all’s in the new tins collection is below, but first: Back to Kristin’s rabbit tin! Here’s a snippet from her blog post:

Here’s a little project I just threw together while social distancing. I have always loved the alphabet scrapbook paper I used, and wanted to do something with it. I found another nice paper with lots of letters on it that looks pretty good with it, so this little tin came together pretty easily. Once I had it covered, I used images from the Vintage Toys Collage Sheet. (If you purchase the digital version, you can resize the images as necessary.)

A blank tin and those tiny carrots are about all you’ll need (sorry but that scrapbook paper is years old — though I can’t blame Kristin for hoarding it as it’s so cute)! You can see more pics and read more on Kristin’s blog post.

What is new today? Mainly Stencils & Halloween!

Oh my… that first row of tiny Halloween things might make you swoon! Plus one item that’s back in stock (after a looong while): Kitchen Cabinet Kit (btw, there’s a cute Holiday Sweets Hutch on that page, but that cabinet can be decorated with any holiday).

FLASH SALE on Altoids Tins Collection!

25% off on EVERYTHING Altoids Tin Themed! That’s not just the tins themselves, but chipboard facades and inserts designed to fit the tins, plus some collage sheets (and an accordion book, book covers and even a roof)!

Psst: ALL collage sheets in this collection are marked down to 50% off!

The sale ends at midnight PST, MONDAY night, April 6th. See them all here.

Night Witch Altered Tin Giveaway!

How sweet is that tin! This was a Halloween project from 2017, back when the Altoids Tin Insert Frames – Wrought Iron were first announced (psst… they’re also part of the flash sale).

You can read more about the project in the original blog post. (Good tips are there, too, like: “to make the image more dimensional, I cut out the witch’s arms and the cat from a second, identical image.”)

I’m including everything from Kristin’s supply list in today’s Giveaway! Three of the items are shown below, but there are 8 items still available (not bad for a project from 3 year’s ago).

To enter the Night Witch Altered Tin Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, MONDAY Night, April 6, 2020).

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.

Please be patient! Spammers try to post crap here a lot so comments are moderated. So if you don’t see your post in the comments section, be patient and check back in a few hours before re-posting it, please!

After midnight, I’ll randomly pick the winner (via Random.org).

Oh! The Arabian Nights ATCs Giveaway winner from the last newsletter! Drum roll, please: The winner is Judy Adamcyk! Please check your email for more information.
