Special Delivery Christmas Matchbox with Tiny Package Tutorial

Filed under Art Projects, Gifts/Decorations, Giveaways, Kristin Batsel, Newsletters, Tutorials

As a follow-up to Design Team Member Kristin Batsel’s recent Kitschy Christmas Matchbox (at left), here’s an (even smaller!) Christmas matchbox: Special Delivery! Just look how tiny this one is (in the photo at right)… this is made with the 2×3 size of the Chunky Matchbox with Window.

I love the whole vintage look of this new little project (see below)… from the paper (inside and out — and notice the ends of both matchboxes showing the candy stripe) — all from the Jingle 6×6 Pad, to the tiny tree & presents inside. Oh, and of course (!), the cute kids inside from the Tim Holtz Sepia Paper Dolls – Christmas!

And… note that Kristin includes a step-by-step tutorial for making those ridiculously tiny packages! Just look at the preview below for how tiny they are (and they’re wrapped with the papers from the same Jingle 6×6 Paper Pad). Another hint on their size: the “ribbon” used to tie them is embroidery floss.

For more photos and tutorial please visit Kristin’s blog post. And here is her supply list (plus see the Giveaway below for more info on this sweet little project, AND a chance to win EVERYTHING in the supply list)!

New Goodies!

Note that I found some new ceramic beads, shaped like Christmas presents (in case you want to make a little scene like Kristin’s and mix up the gifts or speed up the time wrapping tiny gifts).

SANTA SALE!

FLASH SALE! This is a 40% off sale on everything with SANTA in the name! Note: only cardstock & digital versions of collage sheets are included in this sale, but note that the sale includes things beside collage sheets, too!

I constrained this to a small group (22 items… ok, kinda small) as there are so many Christmas options, including the 4 highlights below.

The sale ends at midnight on Sunday night, November 18th.

Click: SANTA SALE to see everything!
