Run Away and Join the Circus

Filed under Art Projects, Collage Sheets, Giveaways, Kristin Batsel, Newsletters, Run Away & Join the Circus Kit, Sale

Note: most of the links on this post no longer work, as we moved to a new Web site in 2018. However, you can see the supply list items from Kristin’s project that are still available on the new site.

Just one announcement before getting to the eye candy (and TWO kits)! We have a NEW FREE collage sheet offer starting today: a FREE Circus Collage Sheet with every order! Your free sheet will be Leslie’s choice from the Circus Collage Sheets. PLUS: in honor of the new circus-themed kits, that section AND the Circus Rubber Stamps are both ON SALE through Friday, May 15th (and remember: all the collage sheet are on sale for 15% off). Note: if you order any of the Circus Collage Sheets, we’ll try to give you a free one that doesn’t duplicate your order (so you’ll have a surprise).

That Kristin Batsel is a wonder! She’s created another little scene that all packs away in one of the Chipboard Steamer Trunks, this time a Tiny Peg Circus!

And Miz Kristin has designed her first collage sheet (yay!) with the tiny costumes for the Small Wooden Peg Dolls (and signage), so you can create your own version of her circus!

I can’t decide if the lion tamer with that tiny whip or the strong man (with tiny weights made from 3/4 Inch Wooden Wheels) is my favorite… hmm, or maybe it’s that Miniature Rubber Chicken with her clowns?

You'll want to see all the tips Kristin shares on her blog post. And/or see the other new goodies Kristin used in Kristin’s supply list and more photos in the Gallery.

And don’t forget to come back and enter the Giveaway, below, as it includes lots of little props from Kristin’s circus (plus BOTH of today’s kits)!

NEW Run Away and Join the Circus Kit

The theme this month is Run Away and Join the Circus! It’s a bit of a continuation of last month’s Vintage Vagabond kit, but this time with a circus theme. I can’t wait to see what you’ll create from this kit: it could be a circus in any era. Your art could be more about the journey (and not ever making it to the circus) or could be a zany circus or who knows what else you’ll think of!

I’ve included 12 sheets from the Carnival 6×6 Paper Pads, 3 collage sheets (including 2 new ones… like the Reversible Clowns Collage Sheet at right), bronze charms and some vintage tickets in a tiny little envelope.

More info is on the Run Away and Join the Circus Kit page.

And a New Run Away and Join the Circus Add-On Kit

As the Design Team often receives a wider group of products to play with around the monthly themes, I’ve gathered together some of what they received (beyond what’s in the regular Run Away and Join the Circus Kit) and I’ve put together this Run Away and Join the Circus Add-On Kit.

So if you want more papers, collage sheets and trims with a circus theme (and with one click), here’s your chance.

This kit includes 12″ x 12″ scrapbook papers, collage sheets (like the new Women Circus Performers Collage Sheet at right), elephant charms (!), and coordinating stickers.

More info is on the Run Away and Join the Circus Add-On Kit page.

New Goodies (not included in either kit) – ALL On Sale!  View All (Yes, there’s more!)
