Caged Alice? Plus Alice in Wonderland Collage Sheet Sale!
Filed under Alice in Wonderland, Art Projects, Collage Sheets, Featured Artwork, Giveaways, Newsletters, Teri Calia
Not only is there an adorable new Alice in Wonderland project today, I’ve just put the ENTIRE Alice in Wonderland Collage Sheets section on sale!
58 collage sheets!! From tea parties to miniatures for dollhouse-scale scenes! And the sale section includes the new collage sheet announced today!
Design Team Emeritus Teri Calia has joined up in all of the fun with this month’s Alice in Wonderland theme with a whimsical Caged Alice project.
“May 4th, is Alice Liddell’s birthday. If you are an Alice in Wonderland fan, then you know who Alice L is; for those of you who don’t know, she is the little girl who inspired Lewis Carroll to write Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Alice L would have been 164 today if she had not died in 1934 at the ripe old age of 82. In honor of Alice L’s birthday I have created a silly version of the Queen’s croquet ground… complete with hedgehog balls and flamingo mallets.
“Using the new, wonderful shabby chic Antique White Metal Birdcage as the base of my croquet ground, and then made a perfect playing area with a bit of moss.
“Some of the characters and other elements were fussy cut images from the new Alice Plays Croquet Collage Sheet, and others were cut from collage sheets on my supply list.
“I layered tiny paper roses, pansies and bright yellow roses all over, and then painted the wonderful Flowers with Resin Faces were painted with artist pastels.”
I love the little cards bent over to be croquet wickets on that new collage sheet!

I love the Alice idea! But I’m thinking birds and fairy8! What fun that would be!!!
I love this! I would have to continue with the Alice theme and make this the centerpiece of a of a project.
I think I would make it the entrance to a very mysterious secret garden, with just a peek of fairy lights and magic showing. You know, enough to lure you in!
Adorable–this would be a birthday greeting for a feminist friend, with Simone de Beauvoir about to free Alice!

“Down the rabbit hole”! What a great project! Thanks for all the inspiration!
A doorway to Never Neverland.
I am going to create a Fairy Door so that the Fairies can come in and out of the house undetected! THe Fairy Queen needs a regal doorway and this will definitely be perfect once some gold and silver are added to it!Thanks for the inspiration!
That metal birdcage is awesome and I love the flamingo! I would make some sort of Alice in Wonderland scene because the rabbit is so cute!!
Oh my! love those resin flowers! What a great project and I love the Alice Croquet ephemera. Anything to do with bird cages too! I can’t help but think that the overmantle would make a wonderful ‘entrance’ on an album cover. I have been collecting Alice things for a while now and would love to put together a whole Alice album with all kinds of neat little bits and pieces in it. Doors and windows for the wonderland characters to peek through. And those resin flowers!!! I have to have some of those. Definitely use these things in my album!
That birdcage and clocks are amazing!! THis is just so delightful! This scene is just perfect!!
I adore this collage sheet. This package makes you feel like a little girls playing. That mantle is calling for those flowers and some flamingos. What fun.
Love all the pieces. The Victorian over mantle I would make an ornament out of. Perhaps for that special Alice aficionado!
The 3-D effect is great! Love the Alice theme or maybe a bird theme? It is a fun surrealist project!!!
I am going to have to go gothic with this.. A spooky entrance to a haunted house book perhaps?
I would likely add the Victorian Overmantle to the fireplace in my dollhouse. Love the flowers with faces!
Fabulous magical project! Still drinking in all of the amazing details. Love those hedgies and flowers with faces. That mantel is gorgeous and I think I’d use it to make a canvas and frame one of my antique family photographs.
Love the Alice in Wonderland theme. I would make a mantle of flowers. >^..^<
Love! I would use the mantle in a sweet shadow box with photos of my five granddaughters all transformed into beautiful little flower fairies.
That Victorian over-arch would become the entrance to my Alice and Fairys garden! I can barely keep up with all of the new and wonderful products at AlphaStamps! I love you guys:)
Wow, the products are darling. My daughter is really into Alice. She would love this project. I think I would add more butterflies (her favorite) and the face flowers.
So cute!! Love Alice in Wonderland!
The Victorian overmantle will work well in the faux book that I bought where I want to do an Everything British scene.
What a nice collection today.
I still have Alice scenes to complete!
Ohhh…. A shrine to the goddess of creativity!
Will love to make flower ornaments or one with time pieces.
It would be the perfect entrance arch to a mini garden.
Wonderful project! I think I would make a doorway to some secret land with just a glimpse beyond!
How about “going down the rabbit hole”!!!
alice with a tea party in bird cage
Might have to include a few fairies along with the Alice cast.
I just received some wonderful old photos of my grandparents as children and teenagers, plus grandma as a USO girl and grandpa in the army, I would have to make a frame for my favorite picture out of the doorway as a doorway into the past.
This would make a wonderful Mother’s Day centerpiece with a pre-Revolution French garden. I can just see the ladies’s dresses billowing in the breeze as they admire the flowers from their pavilion.
It’s always about the fairies for me! 😄😄. Whatever I decide I know they would love it.
Wanting to win!
Curiouser again! If I win this, it will partially be used for an Alice in Wonderland mixed-media book display and partially for fairies book display. I may end up using the flower faces in an Oz display (from Munchkinland) — lots of purposes! Thank you for another opportunity!
Pixies dancing under the arch.
I think it would look cool as a door way entry into magical garden with the flower faces around the edges of it. Thanks for all your awesome great supplies!
I know that this is going to be a very popular drawing because, you know, it’s all about Alice! And of course, what else would you use the overmantle for? It’s got to be Alice’s next adventure Through the Looking Glass!
Happy Birthday to Alice!
I would make a shadowbox and use the overmantle as an archway into a 3-D scene.
Love the little hedgehogs! How ’bout a gargoyle in that cage?!
I have been collecting supplies for an Alice project. I NEED this to put the finishing touches on my project!
oh how beautiful…some magical healing to be contemplated…
I see that arch as a beautiful back drop to a lovely proper English garden wedding!
A shrine or garden ornament.
Lovin’ all the Alice!
I love the birdcage! The Victorian Overmantle would become part of a shrine-I’m not sure what kind of shrine.
Need some kind of vignette with the porcupine 😉
I adore Alice, and would make a Wonderland shadowbox. The hedgehogs are a must!
I would use the Victorian Overmantle to make something creepy and Gothic.
I would decorate it with the flowers and use it as a arbor for my fairy garden! Thank you for the opportunity to win. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
I’m thinking a Christmas ornament of some sort with a Christmas fairy peeking through? Got to think some more about it. Lots of fun stuff in this giveaway!
I do believe I will have to order extra Alice plays Croquet sheets!
Love it. I recently bought the tiny hedgehogs for an Alice themed fairy garden, they are so cute. Could always use more.
