Tiki Beach Bar by Shannon Cooper

Shannon Cooper used the Half Scale Bay Window as the inspiration for this cute (!) tiki bar scene (that bay window is just 5″ tall).

Shannon converted the bay window into a little bar by cutting off the front two supports and replacing them with bamboo poles. The bar top is a piece of heavyweight card cut to extend past the window. Holes were made to accommodate the bamboo poles, and the edges got covered with trimmed reeds.

I do need to point out a few of my favorite things:
– The direction sign that includes “inebriety”
– Did I mention this whole scene is TINY? it’s built in a Corner Room Box (which means the entire depth is 4″)!
– Cute cocktails! (The drinks with lime slices at left are back-in-stock!) Also, the straw in the tumbler is masking tape rolled around a sewing needle. (Clever girl!)
– Lots of foliage!
– The big tiki heads (under the palm trees, to the left of the bar in that large photo above): see below in the Sale Recap for another photo with them lit up!) AND Shannon also shares how she made the tiki heads in her blog post!

See everything Shannon used to make her Tiny Tiki Bar in the Supply List (and a few of the back-in-stock supplies are shown directly below).

The Sea and The Sun Bar & Grill by Rhonda Secrist

How fun! Rhonda created this tiny bar scene from a cabana house shrine (and it is tiny: that shrine is just 5-1/2″ tall)!

Everything in her little patio is sitting on the top step of a Small Stairstep Shrine Base (with a back-in-stock Under The Sea Chipboard Border running around the edge — painted a nice bright coral). Attaching everything to that shrine base a great way of containing (and transporting) the project. Even the Palm Trees are attached to the back of the base so they can come along, too.

Check out Rhonda’s Supply List and/or see the original post for more beautiful photos!
