Mini Reliquary Shrines + New Furniture, Sale & Bats Freebie

The Miniature Reliquaries inspired all the artwork today! 3 ATC-sized chipboard shapes (each is 2 pieces: a solid back and a matching shaped overlay/frame).
Beside THREE art projects using the chipboard reliquaries in a variety of ways, there are also THREE new 1:12 scale wooden furniture pieces (very cute!) and some new metal props (a fancy sword is my particular fave)!

I love this project! Shannon Cooper made a dark and easy Wednesday Addams Shrine using the Half Scale Widows Walk Fencing around the bottom of the back-in-stock ATC Shrine with Feet (with a variety of black trims… and that Meat Cleaver)!

Sometimes you need a little Hallowe’en in your life. Who am I kidding? There needs to be an abundance of Hallowe’en all the time! I decided to spend a few hours crafting, just for me, and made a Wednesday Addams Shrine to add to my growing collection of spooky things.
I started with an ATC sized shrine with feet, which is small and easy enough to transform in an afternoon. The shrine topper is a chopped up Miniature Reliquary, a snippet of black mesh ribbon, and two miniature flying bats. (NOTE: I’ve subbed the Larger Squishy Bats for the sale!)
On the back is another slightly chopped reliquary and bat, but what really finished this project was the Half Scale Widow’s Walk Fencing. Its gothic tininess around the base of the shrine worked out nicely. Plus, it is super cute at only 1″ high! After the bats, it is my favorite thing of the entire project.
Clever to add a piece of one of the Miniature Reliquaries on top as a shrine facade (and to frame the “I’M NOT PERKY” text)! And there’s a quickie tutorial for getting the Meat Cleaver Charm to balance on its point on Shannon’s blog post, too!

Grim Reliquaries by Nichola Battilana
I love these! So simple yet so creepy!
Mainly just the Miniature Reliquaries and images from the Skeleton Slide Mailers and Skull & Bones Collage Sheets.
Plus a bunch of black Dresden: multiple borders from the Black Dresden Border Sampler Set, and the larger Baroque Dresden Borders.
Oh, and one more thing 3mm Brass Flat-Back Studs (tiny dots the are in-between the points of the pointy Dresden.
