NEW Christmas Bits & Bobs

A few more items arrived this week, which gave me a little time to play around with how they could all fit together.

Starting with the Small Spice Rack… no, not new, but it kinda gets forgotten as its smaller sibling fits tinier bottles, but it is perfect for setting up a whole scene! I wrapped the little bar that holds the bottles in place with Red and White Mini Gingham Check Ribbon.

The new 3D Snowman in a Santa Hat and back-in-stock Chunky Glass Bottle w Lid are on either end (the latter filled with Tiny Red Polymer Clay Bows for color), with a Round Glass Vial (filled with Iridescent Water Bubble Microbeads) in the center. I added the 3 candy canes and a tiny snip of the back-in-stock Mini Holly Leaf Garland for more quick holiday color.

I even mocked up a little scene with the spice rack upside-down! That gave me room for adding an image from the Christmas Tabs & Text Collage Sheet under the shelf (and moving the snowman plus an image from the Storage Chest Labels Half Sheet on the top… with more holly — the holly is wired so it’s super easy to bend it around items). NEW Tiny Toy Chest

Oh my. This new Tiny Toy Chest is so tiny! The finished size is approx. 1-5/8″ wide, 1″ tall and 1-1/8″ deep. (About the the width and depth of the smallest suitcase).

I started with the decorated Gift Wrap Storage Chest in the upper right (with a teddy bear and another of the chunky bottles on top… those microbeads are great as filler to hold things in place).

Then working clockwise around the outside of the toy chest, starting with the rocking horse: a standing santa, a couple ice skates, a tiny train engine, toy soldiers, and a pull-toy dog!

Finally, the toys in the toy box are mainly critters: a kitty cat, another teddy, rabbit, cardinal (and unexpectedly in the lower left… a pair of black binoculars… maybe to birdwatch?)
