Man in the Moon Mini Book Kit

It’s what you’ve been waiting for: HALLOWEEN!

Fairies and Halloween?! I took my cue from the Midnight Tales Papers and ran with it! I added some funny full moon faces plus threw in some haunted houses (that look great with a big full moon behind them). And the adorable Halloween fairies in the TWO new collage sheets are perfect for peeking out from either the houses or the moons! (One of the new collage sheets has parts to make 3D cones! See the little photo at left.)

This kit also includes 4 double-sided, 6″ x 6″ sheets from the new Midnight Tales 12×12 Custom Paper Set.

Plus the new Mini Moon Book Set (7 pages!) The mini book pages can be used as a book (with a binding edge on the left or on the bottom) or in a banner (with the straight-edge at the top).

Finally, 1 yard each of FOUR Halloween-colored crepe ribbons! Gotta have some colorful options for hanging your mini banner or binding your mini book!

Go see the new kit for more info and photos on all 8 kit items (plus related new items, new artwork and a Giveaway are below).

Halloween Scary Book by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel

Kristin used the larger version of the solid book pages in the kit for this fab Halloween book (plus the Haunted House Circle not included in the mini set for the front cover overlay)!

“It’s never too early to start up on Halloween crafting! I used some Solid Moon Book Pages from Alpha Stamps to make a spooky Halloween book. A Haunted House overlay was the basis for the perfect cover art for the book. I painted the overlay black, and added scrapbook papers plus a moon and pumpkins from collage sheets to set the spooky scene. You can just see the tiny skeletons peaking through the windows. This book was bound with a Zutter Bind-It-All.”

“It was fun to mix and match Halloween papers to make each page different. Once each page was covered, I used lots of individual images from collage sheets to fill the space. I kept moving everything around until I was happy with the layout. For the really busy pages, it helped to take a photo before removing everything for gluing.”

Good idea taking a quick photo to remember placement! See more details on Kristin’s blog post and see her supply list for all those images and papers!

Man in the Moon Mini Book Kit Giveaway!

I didn’t get a chance to show how cute the Brownies from the new Halloween Fairies Collage Sheet look peeking out of the windows in the new Haunted House Book Pages! So in addition to the new kit (!) I’m also including that (larger) haunted house chipboard set (two different haunted houses — the collage sheet is already included in the kit).

AND: I’m also adding a couple more things from Kristin’s book:
New Haunted House Circle from the front cover
New Solid Moon Book Pages (larger than the mini version you’ll get in the kit)
– And ALL of the collage sheets Kristin fussy cut her images from! (That’s eleven collage sheets!)
