New Retro Tin TV Sets & Artwork, New Minis & Retro Flash SALE!

Filed under Altered Tins, Back in Stock, Collage Sheets, Kristin Batsel, Valentine's Day

This is so cute! Design Team Member Kristin Batsel has made a KittyCat TV using the new Altoids Tin TV (Retro style, as there are 2 versions) and just take a gander! Before I get to the details, a preview: I’ve created a whole “Mid-Century Retro Sale” around the theme, and there’s more new related items below!

But first, here’s some text from Kristin’s blog post:

It’s February, and who’s ready for some valentines? Me and Alpha Stamps, that’s who! Let’s tune in to KCTV (KittyCat TV, of course) for some good old-fashioned Valentine’s Day fun. I love the vintage charm of these cheerful kittens; they remind me of my elementary school days, and valentines from my classmates.

The new retro tv, designed for use with Altoids sized tins, is perfect for this sweet kitty scene. And these cats know how to celebrate! Some happy sprinkles make this Valentine’s party extra festive. I pulled a few hearts out of the sprinkles for little dimensional accents behind the kitten’s heads, and on the front of the television.

Psst: see below for a wide photo showing a preview of Kristin’s tutorial (I love that she used vintage baby blocks to hold the pieces in place while drying). There’s also a photo showing the back of the TV below in the Giveaway!

Read more (and see more photos in Kristin’s blog post! Below are a few of the items from Kristin’s supply list… and keep reading as there’s that related Flash Sale that includes more new retro items!

What is NEW today?

New and back in stock items… and except for the Red Mini Rose Buds, everything is part of the Flash Sale! (And a ton of these items are 1:12 scale!)

Oh! See that new Big Heart Cat Valentines Collage Sheet below right? Beside more fabulous retro kitty cat Valentines, it includes some silhouetted heads repeated in reverse (for using as cupcake picks or paper doll heads — about 1″ wide). AND those heads would be a great substitute for the wooden kitty cat head Kristin used on her TV!

See all the items (more than the previews below)!

NEW Flash Sale: Mid-Century Retro Collection

This is a special sale! I was inspired by Kristin’s KittyCat TV and created a new collection of retro, mid-20th-century items! Over 80 items at least 30% off! And that includes many of the new or back in stock items announced today!

40% off on Retro Collage Sheets — 49 of them!

Any items on clearance in this collection (or a rubber stamp) are marked down to 50% off!

The sale ends MONDAY NIGHT, February 3rd at midnight PST. See the entire sale collection here!

Hooray for the KittyCat TV Giveaway!

Yep… EVERYTHING in Kristin’s Supply List is included in today’s Giveaway!

Bonus: I’m also including the new Big Heart Cat Valentines Collage Sheet, as it has more kitties (and those reversed cat-head images would be a good substitute for that wooden cat Kristin used on the top left of her TV).

Just click on this Supply List link for photos and links to everything in Kristin’s artwork, which are also all included in the Giveaway!

This would make the absolute best Valentine for my husband. He is the neighborhood stray cat whisperer (luckily we live in the country). Our newest kitty was brought to us with her umbilical cord still attached, and after bottle feeding her from birth, we couldn’t let her go. Now, if only we could get a pair of Alpacas! Wouldn’t the neighbors love that! Bahahaha!
