Filed under Announcements, Art Projects, Giveaways, Lora Mahaffey, Newsletters, Sale, Victorian Ephemera Kit

Design Team Call! We are excited to announce that we are looking for new Design Team Members and Guest Designers for Alpha Stamps There’s lots of info on that blog post. Short story: deadline for submissions is January 31, 2019. Looking forward to seeing your artwork!

Next up: today’s artwork! Design Team Member Lora Mahaffey has created a yummy Chocolate Valentine using scrapbook papers and the Arched Tent Card Frame from the Victorian Ephemera Kit!

Plus, as Lora used that lovely photo of Caroline Otero as her central image, I’ve put the entire Art Nouveau Collage Sheet section on sale at 50% off! The sale ends at midnight PST, MONDAY night, January 14th More highlights from the sale are below.

My Chocolate Valentine by Lora Mahaffey

From Lora’s blog post:

Yes, Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it. It’s always been a holiday that catches me by surprise. Fortunately for moi, my husband knows exactly what to get me and it’s the same every year and it never gets old.

A book and a box of chocolates.

It’s the best.

I look forward to it every year.

If he doesn’t get it for me this year (he will) I will get it for myself!

So when Alpha Stamps sent me the Victorian Ephemera Kit and that luscious chocolate-colored Dresden trim spilled out, well, that was it for me. It had to be a snarky chocolate valentine.

Psst… check below in the Giveaway section for the snarkiness in this seemingly innocent project.

Beside these highlights (above and below), here’s the full supply list. And be sure to visit Lora’s blog for more photos and a step-by-step tutorial (I love the hanging tassels Lora made from Stickles, hanging from the Dresden “curtain” — see the top of the photo at left.) Plus that collage sheet of La Bella Caroline Otero that Lora featured, shown at right, is part of the sale!

New & Back in Stock Supplies

Hooray for the That Better Be Chocolate Giveaway!

Ah… there’s the full inside image!

I’m including a Victorian Ephemera Kit and the Caroline Otero Collage Sheet in today’s Giveaway! (As the kit includes the pretty scrapbook papers, chocolate brown Dresden trims, and the chipboard tent card frame — that pretty much gives you all the supplies for recreating Lora’s project.)

Bonus: I’m also including all FOUR of the collage sheets in the sale highlight row above!

To enter the That Better Be Chocolate Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, Monday Night, January 14, 2019).

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.

Please be patient! Spammers try to post crap here a lot so comments are moderated. So if you don’t see your post in the comments section, be patient and check back in a few hours before re-posting it, please!

After midnight, I’ll randomly pick the winner (via Random.org).

Hey, who won the Victorian Ephemera or Top Secret Giveaway from Thursday’s newsletter? That would be Lindy! Congrats! Check your email for info.
