New Kit!

Yay! It’s time for Halloween!

The new Halloween Countdown Kit includes one of FIVE new mini shrines (the cubby in each is a hair over 2″ x 2″… sized so you could use the numbered squares from one of the two scrapbook papers included in this kit, or one of the squares from the new Halloween 2x2s Collage Sheet).

The Halloween 2x2s Collage Sheet has all kinds of images… and all perfect for a little shrine for Halloween. Some are more finished designs (ready to use “as is”) and some are left open to your interpretation (you can add more details, trims or characters; or leave them simpler as the background of a 3D shrine scene).

The kit also includes some numbered beads (for adding a “31” perhaps?) and a Wood Jack-o-Lantern Cut-Out… nice small sizes for adding trims to your shrine.

Go see the new kit for more info and more photos.

New Artwork: Teeny Tiny Halloween Shriney (x3) by Kristin Batsel!

I LOVE these petite shrines by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel! And check out that pic at far right to see the 3D mouse Kristin added to the Big Cat Mini Shrine! (I also love the cardboard facade she added with the cats mouth and teeth.)

From Kristin’s blog post:

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: college football, and Halloween crafting. Yay! Today I present to you three out of the five adorable mini Halloween shrines just released from Alpha Stamps. The opening of each one measures just 2″ by 2″. The tallest one shown is a little less than 6″ tall. So cute! Here’s what I did with mine…

I love the orange polka dot paper that I used on the sides so much that I used it on all three of the shrines [and on the cat’s party hat].

For the Raven October Shrine, I painted the front with acrylics, and gave the raven a witch hat and a red rhinestone eye. The interior is lined with a very dark paper (with bats!) that is pretty much impossible to photograph due to the depth of the box. Please use your imagination. Three tiny trick or treaters stand on a bed of moss and select from the available pumpkins. I considered printing out the “pumpkin patch” sign, but every pumpkin patch I’ve ever been to seems to sport a crudely painted sign, so I hand painted the sign in the interest of historical accuracy.

Beside these 2 photos of Kristin’s project, there’s another photo down in the Giveaway section, where you can enter to win bunches of goodies from Kristin’s supply list! And be sure to visit Kristin’s blog for more photos and tips!

Over 70 More Halloween Supplies ON SALE!

I’ve picked out some faves from the clearance sale! See more Halloween clearance sale items. Note: These are on the clearance site so are at a different URL, and they are on sale at 50% off! PLUS: all 4 of the choices below are included in today’s Giveaway!

Hooray for the Halloween Countdown Kit Giveaway!

Eek! I just had to show another view of that adorable Haunted House Shrine by Kristin! And a bit more from her about this particular shrine:

I considered painting details on the top part of the Haunted House Shrine, but once I painted the back black, I really liked the plain silhouette, so I painted the front plain black as well. This shrine was lined with a dark purple paper with a bed of moss on the floor. A full moon smiles at a black bat, as two little black rats explore the graveyard (I painted the Tiny Plastic Mice black).

First off for this Giveaway: I’m including ALL FIVE of the new mini shrines! Note: I’m including the set I taped together for the photos.

Next: one of the new Halloween Countdown Kits! Note: as the kit includes one of the mini shrines, I’ll use the one from the set mentioned in the last paragraph, so you’ll just be getting one of the cute Cat on Pumpkin Mini Shrines!

Here’s a few more items from Kristin’s supply list that I’m also including in today’s Giveaway (all shown in the shrine at left):
Tiny Tombstones Shape Set (Little tombstone shapes, cut from heavy-weight chipboard. The largest are about 1-1/2″ tall.)
Pumpkin Pods
– The aforementioned Tiny Plastic Mice
Acrylic Black Bat Cut-Outs
Vintage Halloween 2×2 Number Squares Scrapbook Paper (for the polka dot side — you’ll already be getting this as it’s part of the kit)

And remember: my 4 picks from the Halloween Theme on the clearance site are included, too! (Scroll up just a bit to see them.) See more Halloween Clearance Sale Items.

To enter the Halloween Countdown Kit Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY, TOMORROW OR TUESDAY (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, Tuesday Night, September 4, 2018). There’s an extra day than normal as Monday is a holiday in the USA.

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.
