An Ephemera-Filled New Kit, New Embellishments & New Artwork!

New Kit!

This is such a pretty kit! This month’s theme started when I saw the Anthology Scrapbook Papers… a beautiful mix of birds, butterflies and vintage ephemera images. THREE 12″ x 12″ papers from this new line are in the kit.

I’d been thinking about a mailer/envelope that fits an ATC for awhile… and the small ephemera images on the new papers really lend themselves to small projects like ATCs. So there’s a new ATC Envelope Folder, which is also included in the kit!

As you can see in the photos (including Design Team Member Shannon Cooper’s lovely Dear Mrs. Darcy project), the mailer can fit an ATC, ATC Ticket Journal (if you just tuck one page into the notches) or ATC Envelope (one of the kraft envelopes is also included in the kit).

And on to the pretty charms: FOUR new charms chosen for this theme are also included in the kit: TWO patina feathers, a bronze key and a vintage-looking pocket watch with a Paris theme.

Lastly there’s a new collage sheet made for this kit: Ornithology, with all kinds of birds (and eggs). Many sized as ATC backgrounds. Most smaller so could be used in a small collage on an ATC.

So… TEN items. That’s a nice big number of items for a monthly kit and a good mix of items to play with, too.

Go see the new kit for more info and more photos.

New Artwork: Dear Mrs. Darcy by Shannon Cooper!

I love what Shannon has done with this kit! And her blog text, which may have been written while a little tipsy? 🙂

From Shannon’s blog post:

The theme for August, called Anthology ATC Mailer, includes an elegant chipboard mailer that, when folded, creates a pretty envelope for an ATC. If you’re like me and enjoy making a series of cards, the mailer will also hold an ATC Ticket Journal. The paper in the kit has a “natural history collector” theme going and is quite lovely. It made me think of the fictional character Georgiana, the sister of the pretentious Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy, from Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. (But I’d bet you already knew that!) Georgiana was an avid reader and with Pemberley’s vast library at her fingertips, I imagined her leafing through volumes with delicate pages of birds and butterflies. That led me to believe she, being the accomplished young lady that she was, also learned the art of decoupage and may have used this talent to fashion a gift for her new sister-in-law. (Thankfully it turned out to be Elizabeth Bennett and not that snooty Caroline Bingley! I just can’t even.) And because corresponding via post was a normalcy way back when, and because this is getting terribly long-winded (Leslie, for the sake of your readers, please edit), I jumbled that imagination with the new Anthology ATC Mailer Kit and created something I believe Georgiana would approve.

Ha! No way would I edit that!

Hooray for the Anthology ATC Mailer Kit Giveaway!

Ah… I had to show a photo with the back side of that mini ticket journal! I love the image choices Shannon made (I think she used just about every collage sheet I sent… 7 to be specific). Obviously on such a small canvas she had to be discerning in which images she chose.

Yes, it’s true: EVERYTHING in Shannon’s supply list is in today’s Giveaway! (19 items!)

Note: if an item is duplicated in the Anthology ATC Mailer Kit (included in the Giveaway) and also listed separately in the supply list, I’m just including one of those items.

To enter the Anthology ATC Mailer Kit Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, Monday Night, July 30, 2018).

AND tell me: What is your favorite detail from Shannon’s project? OR: What’s your favorite new product announced today?

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.

Please be patient! Spammers try to post crap here a lot so comments are moderated. So if you don’t see your post in the comments section, be patient and check back in a few hours before re-posting it, please!

After midnight, I’ll randomly pick the winner (via Random.org).

Hey, who won the She Sells Seashells Giveaway from Thursday’s newsletter? That would be Elaine Kewin! Congrats! Check your email for info.
