L’ Amour des Fleurs Flower Shop & Miniatures Sale!

Filed under Art Projects, Collage Sheets, Giveaways, Laura Carson, Newsletters, Sale, Streets of Paris

Remember Design Team Member Laura Carson’s Black Cat Cafe from a few week’s ago? That was the sixth post of a series.

Today’s project is the seventh (!) of many that will continue rolling out this year… all leading to building a group of miniature Parisian shops: The Streets of Paris. There will be a clothing boutique, bookstore & pharmacy (and we have already seen a chocolate shop and the cafe just mentioned)!
More info here.

So, on to today’s project: L’ Amour des Fleurs — The Love of Flowers!

The new products and techniques shown today can be used on all sort of projects (whether building a flower shop or not)!

Laura’s flower shop is so beautiful! I’m starting out my limited photo tour (trust me, there are many photos worth pursuing beside the few I’m highlighting) with an outside vs inside comparison (above). L’ Amour des Fleurs is in the center of the bottom floor of Laura’s Paris shops (the chocolate shop can’t be seen in the photos above, but it’s just to the right of the flower shop).

I love all the subtle, Art Nouveau colors in that interior scene. And there are 3 new collage sheets today, with a matching palette.

Speaking of collage sheets, see those miniature potted plants at right? Laura made those! There’s a new Leaves Collage Sheet (and digital download set of png images of the same) with tiny leaves to build your own plants.

A tip from that collage sheet page: If in your project both sides of the leaves will be visible, print (or paint or stamp) a mottled green background image on back side of the paper. AND Laura has also provided 3 mottled green backgrounds to download for free on her blog post.

See everything Laura used (inside and out) in her supply list. (Note: as Laura covered making the buildings for this project in an earlier post, those items are in a separate blog post.) Come back after enjoying her new flower shop tutorial video for new items, a new sale, new FREE gift, and a Giveaway drawn from Laura’s project!

New Products!

Just a snippet from the new products are shown at left (for example: there lots more colors of the new pollen not shown in that preview pic).

Plus this new site has a couple ways to search:

brand new items added this week are here (or click the photo at left for the same results)

or

– here’s Laura’s supply list (that includes most all of the new items)

or

– see the next paragraph about the related flash sale on Flower & Garden Miniatures!!

NEW Wooden Flower Pot with Flowers FREE Gift Kit! AND Flower & Garden Miniatures Sale!

Beside the free images Laura is graciously giving away on her blog post, there’s a new FREE gift kit with all orders!

Aw… sorry but one of the wooden pots that Laura used in her project did not make it to the new site (the 1-1/2 Inch Tall Wooden Flower Pots, shown at left). They were going to be part of the clearance sale (yes, I know, not ready yet for technical reasons, but there is a big clearance sale coming).

So instead, I’m including one of these larger wooden flower pots as part of the new FREE Gift Kit!

In addition to one of these beauties, I’m also including a mix of flowers:
– some flowers from Laura’s supply list
and
– a few other paper blossoms of my choosing (like the Plum Tiny Paper Roses shown, which weren’t in Laura’s project but the deep colors look great with the leaves in the new collage sheet).

As you can see from the 2 examples, they are nice, colorful (large) mixes.

ALL ORDERS now through Monday, July 16th will get one of the new Wooden Flower Pot with Flowers Gift Kits FREE!

And there’s a related SALE! (Plus lots of little pots Laura used in her flower shop are included in this section!) This is a 25% off discount coupon: enter promo code FLOWERSHOP when you check out. (The discount will only effect the items in your cart from the sale section… read on!)

25% off the Flower & Garden Miniatures Section (37 items) — the discount is on top of current sale prices! The coupon expires at midnight on Saturday night, July 14th. (Ooh… Bastille Day… that works out well with a French Flower Shop!)

Hooray for the French Flower Shop Giveaway!

Thimbles! I love the painted thimbles as flower pots! Just look at those shelves full of them!

Ok… let’s take a broader view of this beautiful photo of one wall of the interior (yes, everything I’m mentioning in this section, including the thimbles in that last paragraph, are included in today’s Giveaway):
Art Nouveau Ladies of Nature Collage Sheetnew (poster on wall)
Glass Microscope Slides and Symmetrical Bronze Flourishes (for the shelves — I’m including 4 of the flourishes)
Remnants Scrapbook Paper – Devonshire (as the wallpaper)
Flower Shop Bags & Boxes Collage Sheetnew

Sorry, but that wooden table has been out of stock for ages (and they’re made in Asia so I can’t tell when they’ll be back in stock), BUT I’m including a Tiny Plant Table (not in this photo, but it is in Laura’s project today).

I’m also including the third new collage sheet: Leaves Collage Sheet, for the bit of plants you can see on the right side of the table.

And a bit hard to see at this angle, but Mini Rose Buds – White and 1/2 Inch Pale Pink Paper Roses (some of the flowers wrapped in paper on top of the table).

To enter the French Flower Shop Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, Friday Night, July 13, 2018).

AND tell me: How will you use all these goodies? From the paper and collage sheets to the glass slides… how will you use all of them? Alternate question: what inspires you most from Laura’s tutorial?

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.

Please be patient! Spammers try to post crap here a lot so comments are moderated. So if you don’t see your post in the comments section, be patient and check back in a few hours before re-posting it, please!

After midnight, I’ll randomly pick the winner (via Random.org).

Hey, who won the Tiny Fairy House Giveaway from Sunday’s newsletter? That would be Jo! Congrats! Check your email for info.
