3D Cinderella Coaches – x3!

Filed under Featured Artwork, Laura Carson, Nichola Battilana, Shannon Cooper, Tutorials

I love the Design Team! They are all so creative and I love to see what they make from the same materials. Case in point:

Shannon Cooper made the sweetest Miniature Cinderella Wedding Coach from the mini size of the 3D Cinderella Coach. It is so simple and elegant… it would be the perfect centerpiece for a wedding dinner… or since it’s only 3-1/2″ tall, it could be the decor on top of a wedding cake. Make sure to check out her supply list!

AND Shannon’s blog post includes a tutorial on how to add the seats and curved floor shown through the open door in that photo!

Next: Nichola Battilana lost her mind and made BOTH sizes of the coach. Her TWO Sparkly Cinderella Coaches are both covered in glitter! As she admits: “Because I’m as lazy as one can possibly be… and, let’s face it, I have an extreme glitter fetish… my immediate impulse was to bathe these beauties in the sparkly stuff. And because I have low impulse control, that’s just what I did.”

I will have to object: someone who spends the time to construct 2 coaches and then glitter and decorate them is NOT lazy! Read more and see more photos of her glittering artwork in Nichola’s blog post. Also check out her supply list to see everything she used!

Laura Carson created a beautiful and functional item from the larger 3D Cinderella Coach: A Perfume Bottle Caddy. Laura has a drool-worthy collection of glass perfume bottles and has made a Cinderella coach (complete with a lace and pearl crown on top) to convey them.

Learn how she put the coach together (and painted and decorated it) in Laura’s blog post and here’s a supply list of goodies she used.

  4. Nancy Olsen says:

It’s the perfect size to go with a castle that my granddaughter has. Her’s and her sister’s fussy cut images would look sweet riding inside.

  5. M. C. Sparks says:

I’m thinking more like a Halloween hearse

  6. jean marmo says:

Glitter fetish here! Love those glittery coaches they look like spun sugar. Love all of them actually but the glitter I could throw at that little coach! I am also thinking what a fun Halloween coach that would make all black and glittering waiting for Morticia and Gomez for the Halloween ball. The flowers are sweet and they have been on my list to try for quite awhile now. I always wish I were rich when I come here lol. But I would have to be three women to make everything I want to make. This is a wonderful giveaway thanks for the chance to win!

  9. Deb Young says:

Did not think I needed a Cinderella coach, but now I know I do. This must be why I just bought lots of glitter. My project list keeps getting longer and longer, but I love this stuff.

How about a Harry Potter coach with skeleton horses…:)

  17. Nicole says:

Hello from the ‘green’ Mojave Desert in California!! The rain has definitely painted the desert beautifully.

I would decorate the stage coach as a once flashy coach turned rusted and weathered from time. I would add the details of the yoke and harness pieces that the horses wear. Add the elegant velvet curtains that are now faded and ragged from many years of sun exposure. It will be a stage coach with a story to tell.

    Good luck to everyone!
I cannot wait to see more creations!

  18. Traci says:

Love the beautiful coaches by design team but I would go with the dark side and make a gothic inspired coach. >^..^<

I might do a darker version, with a wicked queen or a vampire entourage.

  20. Lana says:

This took my breath away….exactly what I’d do with it…but it would have to have a driver…a tiny frozen Charlotte doll would fit the bill! Hope I win this give-away!!!

Your design team members are AWESOME!! Such talent and imagination! LOVE all the coaches, but my favorite is the top one, the wedding coach. My nephew is getting married in August in an outdoor setting, and that would make a sweet little gift for them, but I would put in into a small outdoor setting. Congrats to Daylan!

  38. Jessica says:

I would do a fairy queen coach – I keep commenting with this theme!

  39. Cg says:

Silver glitter with florals and perfume inside! Best of both worlds!!!

  40. barb macaskill says:

My coach will be used to bring the Formerly- Evil Queen to the ball to show her new, softer side, she is planning on explaining what really happened with the poisoned apples and hopes that the people will listen and give her a chance to prove herself! She will have the 7 Dwarves shackled and ready to confess to the masses that THEY were the ones who poisoned the apple that was given to Snow White!
There will be lots of black and purple with rich greens and gold in the decor of the coach and the Queen’s dress is a confection of leather and lace that is going to bring every man to his knees!
