Victorian Exploding Carousel Box(es)

Ooh! I think there’s a nice balance of new products and new art and new sale items in this newsletter. Before I let Miz Bella wax poetic about a lovely Valentine project by Laura Carson, let me remind you to come back and see who won Thursdays Giveaway (and other fun news) after you’ve checked out Laura’s tutorial.
“Oh that crazy woman, Miz Laura Carson, is at it again! Can you believe this GORGEOUS New! Victorian Exploding Picture Box – Carousel? As if it’s not enough that the bottom box opens to reveal chocolate hearts but the top box contains an altered bottle with a love note inside! Inside the large box Laura used images from three different Collage Sheets:
– Romantic Perfume Labels,
– Vintage French Ads and
– Cherub Frames.
“Oooohhhhhhh, a loooooove note! Such a sentimental girl that Laura! Other components Laura used that make me feel a hoarding session about to start are the Heart Stick Pins, Inca Gold Gilders Paste, those (new) Ivory Cherub Buttons holding roses, and the fabulous Hexagon Hanging Lantern at the top of the carousel. Swoon! Better get your orders in before I put my order together!

And beside Laura’s creative tower arrangement of the Victorian Exploding Picture Box – Carousel, I’m enamored of Nichola Battilana’s beautiful garden (with mushrooms and a tiny fairy house!) inside her interpretation of the same box (with the more standard arrangement of the nested inner panels).
Nichola also made good use of all the butterflies on the Olde Curiosity Shoppe Butterfly Specifics Scrapbook Paper, and the pretty mulberry paper Gardenias. Here’s a link to all the papers and goodies Nichola used. And see more photos of Nichola’s artwork in the gallery.
