Day 6 Giveaway: Tags & Type

Filed under Cat's Away... 2010, Giveaways, Sale

Note: most of the links on this post no longer work, as we moved to a new Web site in 2018. But you can try searching on the same names (as links below) on the new site.

Today’s Giveaway came together fairly easily once I’d gotten all the components here (which took far longer than I’m willing to admit). That will make more sense when you see how tightly things below fit together.

Note: all the indented items are included in the Giveaway. There are some additional (related) things just put on sale that are not in the Giveaway (down at the bottom of this page).

Also note: there is no runner-up for today’s Giveaway.

New & On Sale
(and included in the Giveaway)

Flat Tags
New & on Sale! Antiqued gold-, copper-, or silver-plated cast pewter charms/tags in 2 shapes (and 2 sizes for the rectangular shape). As you can see in the overview photo (above), the Giveaway includes 3 tags (a mix of shapes and colors).

Decorative Words Transfer Sheet
New & on Sale! Transfer sheets are easy-to-use waterslide decal images that are sized and shaped to fit Nunn Design Flat Tags. Sheets come packaged with full instructions and project tips. Decals can be used directly over metal, over polymer clay, or layered over cardstock collage sheets. Each image is repeated twice (on the 4-1/4″ x 11″ half-page sheet).

Vintage Office Collage Sheet
New & on Sale! Handsome assortment of vintage office items including a rotary payphone, rubberband ball and a beautiful Underwood typewriter, all on an 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock sheet.

Antique Typewriter Mini Alphabet Sets
New & on Sale! Nice, compact, little wood-mounted alphabet sets. Lower Case includes thirty 3/8″ squares that have 1 letter or a circle, square, star or heart. Upper case includes 4 punctuation marks. All letters are approx. 1/4″ tall.

Not New to the Site, But Newly On Sale!
(and included in the Giveaway)

Dark Words Collage Sheet
All kinds of phrases for your spooky, Halloween (or non-Halloween) artwork: the witching hour is upon us, beautiful death, skeletons in your closet… Licensed from the fabulous Teri Calia.

The sheet in the Giveaway is printed as clear stickers.

Fancy Epoxy Typewriter Keys
Great set of 48 vintage-esque epoxy foil typewriter key stickers, complete with exclamation mark and ampersan. Each sticker is just over 1/2″.

Sold out but included in the Giveaway
(so please don’t email me asking how to buy them)

Type Alphabet Rub-Ons
I’m not even sure how long these have been lurking about. No other type rub-ons are currently on the site, but these are similar: Steampunk Rub-Ons.

Related Sale Items
(not included in the Giveaway)

Vintage Technology Rubber Stamp Set
New & on Sale! A fantastic set of four 2″ x 2-1/2″ wood-mounted stamps depicting funky vintage objects, perfect for office or home-themed projects (or letter-writing or communications).

Vintage Office Rubber Stamp Set
Beautiful wood-mounted (and antiqued) set in a metal tin (and includes a black ink pad). A vintage (rotary) telephone, paper clip, pointing hand, typewriter, and 4 classic rubber stamps for stamping mail or invoices. 8 individual stamps plus a stamp pad in a decorate metal tin.

Die Cut Alphabet Scrapbook Paper:
Round die-cut faux-typewriter keys with full upper- and lower-case alphabets and numbers and a few symbols (with a tiny dot pattern on the back). 12″ x 12″, double-sided heavy sheets. Printed in the USA (that’s a rarity with large scrapbook paper companies).

Words Collage Sheet
Lots of phrases on little snippets of parchment. Beside what you can read by clicking on the thumbnail at right, the phrases include “celebrate the occasion with wine and sweet words”, “never forget their names”, “drama queen”, “Off with her head!”, “too dark to read”, “We are not hypocrites in our sleep” and “at the stroke of midnight”. Licensed from the fabulous Teri Calia.

Note: Most of the sale links from this page go to a page showing short-term sale items in conjunction with this Giveaway.

Here’s the recap of the Giveaway Rules. And check yesterday’s post for some Valentine’s Day items that are still on sale.

So leave me a comment and tell your friends.

I thought nothing could pass the steampunk give away, but this is it. I remember the pay phones on the upper left of the sheet above. Anywhere we went without our parents, we were given a nickle to use the pay phone if needed. Really doesn’t seem that long ago. Great blast from the past. Please include my name in the give away.
