Home for the Holidays Banner & Sweet Treats SALE!

Filed under Art Projects, Back in Stock, Bella Ayers, Christmas Baking Treat Box Kit, Miniatures

Oh… happy accidents! We just got the Christmas Vintage 8×8 Paper Pad back in stock! (Yay: So many cakes and Christmas treats!) Which led to peering at all the lovely artwork made with it last Christmas season…

So beyond revisiting a fun Christmas banner that Bella made with that paper set, I’ve also created a NEW SALE COLLECTION based on her supply list (plus I added bunches more items in the “Christmas sweets” theme). More info on the sale is below.

Home for the Holidays Banner by Design Team Coordinator Miz Bella (Kimberly Ayers)

Oooh! This is so cute! I love the 3D elements on this banner… perfect for a narrow hallway or add more pennants and decorate your mantel! (And scroll down just a bit to see all 3 pennants.)

Remember the Halloween banner Bella made in October 2019? This one is similar (using 2 sizes of the black triangular pennants over each other — between those layers and the layered paper and 3D elements on top, this is a banner that will demand attention! (Psst: both of those pennants are on clearance so add the discount coupon on top of that and they’re a steal!)

Here’s some text from Bella’s blog post to get us started:

Are you in the Xmas spirit yet?

Xmas, Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, Islam, etc, or dancing naked under the full moon — are you feelin’ it yet? Kind of hard not to when Wally World is bringing out the holiday decorations before Halloween was even over.

Anyway, I am finally in the mood for Xmas! Yay! I LOVE Mid-Century Christmas decorations, especially Santa, those demented knee hugger elves and also the little pixies, tiny wooden ornaments, the flocked deers, and of course Shiney Brite. The November 2019 Kit (also on sale!) came with a super cute retro collage sheet which was right up my alley. Once again I felt like making a banner since I can’t seem to find the one I made a couple of years ago.

This banner has just 3 pennants, and the middle one I decided to make 3D with the cute little Christmas Baking Treat Box that comes in the November Kit. The kit name got me thinking about making treats, being at home when it’s cold outside, cookies baking, candies all around and everything else that’s good to eat (that blow your arse up by 12″ just by looking at them) is how I came up with the “Home for the Holidays” theme.

Ha! I love Bella’s little project and her sense of humor! (And nice use of that smaller 8×8 pad size of Christmas Vintage on these pennants and the little house.) Oh, if you’re trying to track it down: the deer and the Santa images (on the far left and right banners) are both from the Holiday Animals Collage Sheet. The vintage recipe under Santa is from the Sweet Treats Collage Sheet, which is also part of the November Kit.

Go visit Bella’s blog post for more photos and more funny text! And here’s her supply list. (Plus see below for more info on the related new sale!)

What else is new today?

More cute minis! I love those tiny new boxes (and pretty much everything else new today could go right inside)!
