Valentine’s Day! New Art x2, New Sweets & New SALE!

Filed under Back in Stock, Giveaways, Laura Carson, Lora Mahaffey, Miniatures, Sale, Shannon Cooper, Valentine's Day

It is storming outside! I am speeding along and hoping the power holds…

And it’s Valentine’s Day! We have so many sweet treat to share! Starting with 2 tiny (adorable) little Valentine displays by Design Team Member Shannon Cooper!

Here’s an intro and some details from Shannon’s blog post:

All of the cakes on the little wire stand? Yep, they are pre-made, they are all available at Alpha Stamps. [Psst… quite a few shown are new today and are on sale — more info below!]

I placed the cakes on a few plates (and cut out a white foam heart “plate” for the top one), and turned one plate into a cake stand by gluing on a white pony bead. After that, all I really did was glue red Dresden trim to the edges of the stand, and poof! A Valentine’s cake display that is 3-3/4″ tall!

And since that project took three minutes, I had time to squeak in another little thing. This one took a tad longer to finish, but only because I painted a microscopic metal jewelry box and made a teensy string of pearls to go inside.

While waiting for the jewelry box to dry, I painted hearts on a white metal bowl, and while that was drying, I dipped the strawberries in chocolate paint. With nothing left to paint, I constructed a heart shaped box and gift bag from the Tiny Little Valentine’s Collage Sheet. The vase is a metal bit that holds a lampshade in place. Why don’t I own miniature vases??

Why indeed! I will get some vases to Shannon ASAP!

Here’s Shannon’s supply list for both little projects, and read on for more about the new resin cakes!

Baking Miniatures ON SALE!

FLASH SALE! This is a 25% off sale on ALL Baking Minis!

With all the sweet treats above, I thought this section would be perfect, as it includes resin cakes AND some little bowls! 34 options… including the 4 highlights below — ALL 4 below are NEW!

The sale ends at midnight on Friday night, February 15th.

MORE ARTWORK?
(And more hearts, too…)

Based on the Stars Playing Card, but this time with a heart theme: NEW Hearts Playing Card!

And look at that… no sugary sweet artwork from Design Team Member Lora Mahaffey! Lora’s Twisted Little Valentine Cards show another take on Valentine’s Day (and these would be great for a Halloween project, too!)

If you’d like to make a similar ghoulish Valentine, I’d recommend the Anatomy, Gnome & Mushroom Ornaments or Victorian Bats Collage Sheets for some similar images.

More info on Lora’s project is on her blog post.

Back in Stock Products!

Stackable Room Box Giveaway!

I bet you didn’t see that coming! But the last item in the “back in stock” row above is for a new, revised version of this 1:12 scale 2-story room box!

We have split this 2-story room box into TWO SEPARATE FLOORS! You can still buy one of each (one bottom & one top) and stack them to make the same 2-story room box as before. But you could also choose to buy only one floor.

Note: the top floor includes the extra pieces for the balcony (and trim around the French windows). The bottom floor includes the trims pieces for the center door and two windows.

Laura has used this 2-story room box for a couple different projects, but I chose to show the L’ Amour des Fleurs — The Love of Flowers Shop (above), as it shows the outside entrance and inside view of the same doorway. (That photo is from Laura’s Street of Paris project, you can view all the posts about it.) The photo at right shows the full height of the 2 stories (plus a roof) from another project by Laura: Steamtown House.

As I have taped together both the top and bottom floors of this new version to take photos, both are included in the Giveaway! I will carefully take them apart… they also come with all the window/door trims and the balcony.

To enter the Stackable Room Box Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, Friday Night, February 15, 2019).

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.

Please be patient! Spammers try to post crap here a lot so comments are moderated. So if you don’t see your post in the comments section, be patient and check back in a few hours before re-posting it, please!

After midnight, I’ll randomly pick the winner (via Random.org).

Hey, who won the Mini Domino Book Giveaway from Sunday’s newsletter? That would be Gail Shenberger! Congrats! Check your email for info.
