Tinting Lace Tutorial by Jeanne Draachreider

Note: most of the links on this post no longer work, as we moved to a new Web site in 2018. However, you can see the supply list items from Jeanne’s project that are still available on the new site.

Oooh! What a treat from Design Team Member Jeanne Draachreider today! Did you notice the lovely pink lace at the bottom of Jeanne’s Paris in Bloom Shrine? (See a close up below, and read more on the blog post highlighting that artwork.) Well, I asked Jeanne to show how she tinted the lace and she went wild coloring lace in different colors (and stamped muslin “ribbon” with torn edges, too)!

Jeanne typed notes directly on the photos, so just click on any of the how-to photos below if you’d like a larger version to see/read.

And here is the supply list for all the colors Jeanne used (including some New and On Sale! Distress Stains and Lindy’s Stamp Gang – Little Lindy Kits — and that I See Paris Cling-Mounted Stamp Set used to stamp the muslin)!

Enjoy!
