Fear not! Even though this kit is now sold out, there are still links to the individual items that were sold as a kit on this page. (Plus lots of eye candy from the Design Team!)
Our March kit is French Corsets and that theme started with my idea to use half of a corset shape as a book cover (or a page in a corset-shaped book). So when you’d open the book, you would have the full corset shape. See below for an example of a (clever) corset book by Guest Designer Kimberly Laws.
Of course, you don’t need to make a book to use the chipboard shapes or to enjoy all the pink floral and lacy fluffiness in this kit!
I designed SIX New! collage sheets for the corsets theme, THREE of which are in this kit:
- The Secret Out At Last Collage Sheet
Some great images from vintage trade cards, including the ornate text "The secret out at last, why Mrs. Brown has such a perfect figure."
- Decorum Collage Sheet
A mix of images from advertisements and trade cards, and a book cover ("Decorum") and text that could become a mini book spine ("Treatise on Etiquette and Dress").
- My Graceful Figure Collage Sheet
I'm not sure what a cork corset was, but the name of this collage sheet is from one of these ads: "I owe my graceful figure to Cooley's Cork Corset." And see below for a Corset Trading Cards and Storage Box by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel using images from this sheet.
PLUS, the kit includes a custom half-sheet of corsets and mini lace trims printed on clear transparency film (exclusive to this kit!)
The French Corsets Kit also includes a 3 gorgeous scrapbook papers:
- The Garden In Bloom Scrapbook Paper
A double-sided heavy cardstock sheet (really heavy... I couldn't easily bend it in half to photo both sides in one shot) with a collage of lace doilies, butterflies, roses and a perfume label.
- The Garden Timeless Scrapbook Paper
Another double-sided heavy cardstock sheet with a lovely (busy!) damask print in white and pale green with pink roses.
- French Heritage Pink Ticking Linen Scrapbook Paper
A double-sided cardstock sheet with a printed linen background texture and big pink blossoms and butterflies (and french text).
And, the kit includes a set of the New! Beige & Pink Seam Binding Set (designed to coordinate with the papers in the kit).
While I'm explaining what's in the kit, most everything in this month's kit is also available to buy separately (until sold out). See the "We Also Recommend" section, below, for links/pics of all the items in the kit that are sold separately.
If you're reading this on March 2nd, scoot over to the blog and see what's in today's Giveaway that includes this kit!
Hey, there are extra goodies that would be fun trims for this kit (and more related papers from the French Heritage and The Garden collections! and those other 3 new corset-themed collage sheets!) so regardless of entering the Giveaway, I'd recommended checking out the blog post.
And, in honor of this theme, I've put the ENTIRE Victorian Collage Sheets Section On Sale! Sale ends March 23rd!
All options are postage-paid! USA only.
(That's postage to get the kit to you — not return postage if you're participating in the swap.)

If you buy a subscription after the 15th of the month, your first kit will be for the following month (so if you subscribe on March 16th, the April kit will be your first kit).
