There are 4 new swaps due early Summer and I've posted a new Slide Glass & Frames Page that includes a Mermaid- and Sea-Themed Collage Sheet that could be used for 2 of those swaps. Even if you don't have the time to join the swaps, there are ideas for pendants you'll probably want to take a look at.
There are pre-cut glass and metal frames for 4 different sizes of pendants (or ornaments or bracelet links — one of the new (small) frames has jump rings at 2 sides, so they can be used as pendants (with a loop at the bottom for a bauble) or linked together for a bracelet).
The new "Seaside Slides" Collage Sheet has many mermaids, waves, cloudy skies, seashells... in 1" x 3" microscope slide size and 1" x 1" Inchies size (to use for Inchie backgrounds or to cut up to embellish the larger slide images).
I've added links to lots of Beach/Mermaid/Seaside items from other pages in the right column of the new page. A couple of the new items highlighted there are Blue Shell Border Dresden Strips (shown at right) and Wired Taffeta Fish Ribbon.
Swap-wise, there's a Beach/Mermaid-Themed Inchies Swap (Postmarked by July 7) and a similar-themed Slide Mailers Swap (Postmarked by July 21) that the new collage sheet will provide lots of ideas for. (Visit the Yahoo Group for more details and to sign up for the swaps. The other 2 new swaps are both Fairy Tale related (in case you'd like to revisit that mass of Brothers' Grimm Collage Sheets I created recently): A Fairy Tale ATC Swap (Postmarked by June 20) and a Sleeping Beauty Castle Swap (Postmarked by June 30th), hosted by Sarah Whitmire, who also created the lovely slide mailer sample, above.)
New Seaside Rubber Stamps
- A Sea Border that I think would look great repeated across the bottom of a wide page or book spread.
- A Little Mermaid stamp (shown at left) that is a good size for a microscope slide.
- Small, simple Seahorse and Clam Shell stamps that can be repeated to make background textures.
- And a Deco Swimmer that would look sweet perched atop many scenes.
A Couple of New Chipboard Items
(Fairly) short and sweet this week. Thanks for reading another missive, Leslie
