I've split the books page into blank books (this page) and how-to & clip art books/CDs.

These metal tins, Diorama Boxes, book covers & pages and misc. blank books are a good base to start a collage project.

Mini Edgy Album - Licorice
6 heavy, black chipboard pages with different scallop and curved bracket-shaped die-cut ends. Sheet size varies from approximately 4-1/2" to 6-1/2" wide but all are 6" tall. They are stacked, each sheet being slightly longer than the previous. The pages can be mixed with the longer pages in the Edgy Album.

Each sheet has 3 "binding" holes on left side and the set comes with binding rings. Or you can bind your album with ribbons (see examples in the sample art - click on the thumbnails to see all the details).

The front cover's shape is duplicated in clear acrylic as either a clear protective cover or another page to decorate.

Exquisite Shrine
Beautiful, laser-cut masonite shrine kit (3" tall when finished). There are so many ways to use this... the teal "Queen of Hearts" shrine I'm holding in one of the small photos is by Guest Designer Wendy Anderson (using an image from the Queen of Hearts #2 Collage Sheet). The "Palmistry" Diorama Box by Guest Designer Shannon Sawyer uses the shrine inside the shadow box. Click on the thumbnails to see all the components.

Note: you have to put the shrine together (but isn't that half the fun?); plus it gives you the option of painting or decorating (use thin paper!) the box before assembling it. Instructions are included. It is easy to put together (see the thumbnail photo of the side view ("Bathing Beauty" shrine by Design Team Member Teri Calia) to see how the layers of masonite stack up to form the depth). You can leave out one or more of the layers to create a different shape "stage" (but with less depth). It also includes a notched hole in the back panel for hanging on the wall.

Cubbyhole - 3 Compartment
Ingenious, laser-cut masonite cubbyhole (with 1-1/2" "holes" that perfectly fit the memory glass shown in the larger photo). There is a Memory Frame Starters collage sheet with artwork pre-sized to fit 1-1/2" memory frames (or create your own).

Note: you have to put the cubbyhole together (but isn't that half the fun?); plus it gives you the option of painting or decorating (use thin paper!) the box before assembling it. Click on the smaller photo to see the how the cubbyhole is packaged (flat).

Shown in one of the photos with a 6-Compartment Cubbyhole (I'm holding them to show how you could hinge them together like a triptych, but note: they won't be able to fold closed as the width of two 3-Compartment Cubbyholes is slightly wider than a 6-Compartment Cubbyhole.

Metal Tins

Jeweler's Tins and a couple other metal tins Lids just sit on; they don't screw down tightly. Clockwise from the largest one in the big photo (all have glass lids and are sold singly unless otherwise noted): - Medium: 1-7/8" diameter - Short ("Small Journey Tin"; clear window is plastic + embossed design around the lid + Set of 2): 1-7/16" diameter - Magnetic (magnet on the back + plastic divider inside + clear window is plastic, ): 1-1/2" diameter - Tiny: 13/16" diameter - Small: 1-1/4" diameter The medium size were used in the Fridge Magnet Swap. These are the same tins we use to package the vintage buttons. The small size are the same tins we use to package the tiny watch gears.

Heavy chipboard boxes with glass inset into the lids (the lids lift off and are the same depth as the boxes; the chipboard is covered with black faux-leather grain paper on the outside and white paper on the inside).

Instead of stacking them directly on top of one another, try layering one piece towards the top, one in the middle and one on the bottom. Or even just the front & back covers. Bracket Shaped Chipboard Covers & Die-Cuts The shaped chipboard covers are 5" x 7" and come in craft (tan) (black are sold out). They're $1.99/2 piece set The die-cuts are pages to fit inside a book made with the covers. 4 die-cut shapes per 12"x12" sheet. The shapes all have fun curvy or zip-zag edges and fit inside the size of the covers (when the book is closed, the pages won't stick out beyond the covers). They're 65 lb. cardstock, printed on both sides, and are $1.25/sheet. Click on the Journal-it picture to see the reverse side printing. Pre-Cut Book Covers/Pages and O-Wires Pre-cut heavy bookboard covers (1/16" thick) and cardstock pages for creating 2 sizes of booklets (4 x 4" and 5 x 7-1/2"). The covers are kraft color. The pages come in cream or black. (The covers come in sets of 2; the pages are in sets of 10.) The 4.1" x 4.1" covers would be perfect for binding a chunky book. Binding wires in 3 sizes and 4 colors (all the wires come in packs of 2 and are 12" long; you can cut the wires down to size for a small project).
