New Cemetery Shadowbox Kit, Wrought Iron & Artwork!

Filed under Cemetery Shadowbox Kit, Collage Sheets, Giveaways, Halloween, Rhonda Secrist Thomas

Before I show off the new kit (and fab new artwork!): a reminder that the Halloween Collage Sheet SALE continues through tomorrow night, September 6th at midnight PST.

30% off on EVERYTHING in this collection! Tons of options… over 180!

    Cemetery Shadowbox Kit

Oh… I love the deep colors in this kit (and new An Undiscovered Magical World Papers, 3 of which are in the kit)… and the imagery, too!

See the 3 A4-size papers below (that are in the kit): between the dark mystical/cemetery images and 1 sheet having ATC-size images, I decided to make a new Wrought Iron Facade as the front for the existing Shadowbox to cover both bases (yes, both of those items are also in the kit — and see below, as Design Team Member Rhonda Thomas made fun/spooky/colorful artwork including ATCs and this kit)!

This kit also includes TWO collage sheets (both on sale if you catch ’em quick):
    Cemetery Tombstone Silhouettes
New Cemetery Signage & ATCs Collage Sheet
Six backgrounds, ready for you to add a bit of spice to make Halloween ATCs. And a big bunch of signs (from Sleepy Hollow Cemetery to Nevermore Asylum)!

Finally, a 1 Inch Black Acrylic Raven (back in stock!): perfect to perch on a tombstone.

Go see the new kit for more info and photos on all 8 kit items (plus related new items, new artwork and a Giveaway are below).

Children of the Night by Rhonda Thomas

Wow! Isn’t this fun?! Rhonda used the new Wrought Iron Gate for 3×4.5 Shadowbox that I designed to fit over the facade and shadowbox that are in the kit (and both in Rhonda’s project, too). I love how she highlighted all the left-side edges with a white gel pen to add some “pop”! (Check out 3 wide photos below, too.)

Here’s a bit of intro text from Rhonda’s blog post:

Once this gate opens, you will literally be taken to “An Undiscovered Magical World”. It is guarded by many frozen Charlottes from the past, a large Raven, and once you go inside, you will witness the Children of The Night. Do NOT look into their eyes!

It was nice to have a moment away, in a creepy yet wonderful place. And the whole thing came together so easily, which always makes for a special project. I started with a Mini 3×4.5 Shadowbox and knew that I wanted to add this new facade and wrought iron gate. A tad of plum-colored paint was all it needed.

My inspiration came from the new An Undiscovered Magical World papers that are available at Alpha Stamps. First I decided on what background I wanted for inside of the shadowbox. I also wanted to include the etched RIP Bat Headstone and Acrylic Raven. [Note: see the wide photo at the very bottom of this post for the inside of the shadowbox without any ATCs, so you can see the headstone and acrylic raven.] Since purple was the main color that I chose, I added different elements that went along with that theme including some Purple Crepe Ribbon, Purple Dresden Borders and Burgundy & Mauve Flowers.

Beautiful! See more details in Rhonda’s blog post (like all NINE ATCs!) and here’s her supply list for all those images and papers! (And come back to see more new items, plus a Giveaway that includes supplies from Rhonda/s artwork!)

    More New Items!

Even more than the new things above and below so check here to see everything new today (12 items)!

    Cemetery Shadowbox Kit Giveaway!

In addition to the new kit (!) I’m also including EVERYTHING in Rhonda’s Supply List!

That’s a ton of supplies! Here are a few I haven’t mentioned yet:
Eclectic Charm Frills Scrapbook Paper (with a pretty purple brocade pattern on the back)
Dolls in the Attic Collage Sheet (more creepy kids!)
    – Those 2 etched RIP tombstones shown below (and shown on the inside and back of Rhonda’s shrine)!

Note: As there is a Cemetery Shadowbox Kit included in the Giveaway, any items that are part of the kit (and also listed separately in the supply list) will only be included once.
