Birdie Flies Off AND a Flash Sale on Sepia Photos!

Filed under Anthology ATC Mailer Kit, Art Projects, Bella Ayers, Giveaways, Newsletters, Sale, Tutorials

Birdie Flies Off – ATC Mailer by Design Team Coordinator Miz Bella (Kimberly Ayers)!

Bella made this fun set of ATCs (and decorated ATC Envelope Folder) using the Anthology ATC Mailer Kit — and mixing up images from the Tim Holtz Sepia Vintage Paper Dolls with other (more colorful) collage sheet images.

I love that toddler sitting on the bird in the ATC above! Let’s start with some text from Bella’s blog post:

I love the Tim Holtz Paper Dolls. They’re already fussy-cut out, ready to go and you get a ton of them with assorted sizes of the same images. Still prefer to fussy-cut my own stuff, but when my hands hurt from arthritis sometimes it’s easier to just grab one that’s already done.

When the mailer is opened up and if your ATC is in the vertical position, it almost looks like a little stage in the middle. Display the mailer standing up, and add a couple characters! They easily store in the ATC envelope along with the ATC.

There really was no rhyme or reason with the mailer. I loved the papers in the kit, collage sheets that came with it so decided to just go with what I liked. Nope. Didn’t care one bit if everything matched or “went” with each other. Doing it that way was a lot more fun than fretting over a set theme. Also, there are many imperfections with the finished mailer and lemme tell ya – sometimes you just have to let that insane desire for perfection shit fly right out the window. Embrace the imperfections!

Ah… Bella. Note: there are some good tips about decorating the ATC Envelope Folder on Bella’s blog post (including a workaround for an evil cat jumping up on the work table… a bit NSFW but what do you expect)?

Hooray for the Sepia ATC Mailer Giveaway!

I didn’t even show the front (back? not sure… the outside of the folded ATC mailer) of Bella’s project above… so here it is at left — very nice!

To get this Giveaway going: I’m including one of the August Kits. Plus the patina leaf shown at left (the watch charm is already going to be included from it being in the kit).

And remember: the two rows of my picks from the Sepia Paper on the clearance site are included, too! (You are going to have a lot of papers to play with!)

Lastly, I’m adding 2 (more) items from Bella’s supply list:
Bees, Birds and Butterflies Collage Sheet (you’ll need that large bird at the top of the sheet if you want to copy Bella’s ATC)
Tim Holtz Sepia Vintage Paper Dolls (beside being used all over the place on this project: these paper dolls are also in the Sepia Photos FLASH SALE Section! Remember to use that discount code!)

To enter the Sepia ATC Mailer Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, Friday Night, August 24, 2018).

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.
