Florida Memories Exploding Box, New Giveaway & Special FREE Gift!

Filed under Art Projects, Back in Stock, Giveaways, Newsletters, Sale, Shannon Cooper, Vacation Memories Kit

That always-inventive Design Team Member Shannon Cooper has made a fab gift for one of her daughters: a Florida Memories Exploding Box! It’s such a perfect combo of bright summer colors & a personalized gift.

From Shannon’s blog post:

After five years of being a Floridian, my daughter packed up to attend grad school in another state. She left behind scores of friends, colleagues, a few family members, and loads of memories. So, when presented with a Double Explosion Box from Alpha Stamps, I didn’t have to think twice about how it was to be decorated. It was fortunate for me to also have gotten two collage sheets of vintage Florida postcards and souvenirs… it couldn’t have been more timely! I covered the exterior of the box with a few choice images and on the top went a miniature white beach chair, cocktail umbrella, and an over-sized Cosmo. It’s hot in Florida. You gotta stay hydrated, people.

The box itself is 3″ x 3″ — an excellent size for a small gift  and the “exploding” interior offers eight surfaces to embellish. I used these areas for photos of my daughter and her friends, and found the mini box portion of the Framed Matchbox Book to be cute picture frames.

Beside these 2 photos of Shannon’s project, be sure to visit her blog for more photos and tips (and see the Giveaway below for a close-up of that soooo-perfect flamingo snowglobe). And here’s Shannon’s supply list, too.

New & Back in Stock Miniatures!

NEW Tropical Beach FREE Gift Kit!

After seeing Shannon’s adorable project… and checking out the goodies that are planned for the clearance sale, I decided to give away some of the things Shannon used instead! (And beside Shannon’s theme: I’m also including a tiny working compass, inspired by Nichola’s artwork in last Sunday’s newsletter!)

There are less than 20 of these CHAIRS left, so I cannot guarantee you’ll get one but until they run out: ALL 4 of the items in the photos will be included FREE with all orders placed today through Saturday night, July 21st (2018).

Whenever I run out of the chairs, I’ll substitute something tropical or beachy (similar in theme as Shannon’s artwork and coordinating with the other items). You know me… I’ll pick something cute.

Note: the citrus slices included in this group are pre-cut… but if you’d like to cut your own, there are still polymer canes available in lemon, lime & orange.

Hooray for the Florida Memories Giveaway!

Time is fleeting, so lucky you!… this Giveaway includes EVERYTHING in Shannon’s supply list AND all 4 items shown in the Tropical Beach FREE Gift Kit above!

Note: if an item is duplicated in the Vacation Memories Kit (included in the Giveaway) and also listed separately in the supply list, I’m just including one of those items.

To enter the Florida Memories Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, Friday Night, July 20, 2018).

AND tell me: What vacation memory would you make a mini shrine about? Any little props you’d like me to find that would help?

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.

Please be patient! Spammers try to post crap here a lot so comments are moderated. So if you don’t see your post in the comments section, be patient and check back in a few hours before re-posting it, please!

After midnight, I’ll randomly pick the winner (via Random.org).

Hey, who won the Explore Box Giveaway from Sunday’s newsletter? That would be Kathy Toews! Congrats! Check your email for info.
