New Tim Holtz Christmas Items & Big Sale!

Filed under Art Projects, Betsy Skagen, Giveaways, Miniature Reliquaries Kit, Rhonda Secrist Thomas, Sale, Tim Holtz

Note: most of the links on this post no longer work, as we moved to a new Web site in 2018. However, you can see the supply list items from Rhonda’s project that are still available on the new site.

Halloween or Christmas? Hmm… How about both! Starting with:

ALL Christmas Collage Sheets are 40% off — through TUESDAY night (October 18, 2016)! That’s a HUGE section (OVER 100 sheets)! And a big variety of images, too: nostalgic sepia postcards, classic illustrations of Santa Claus…. images sized for pendants or ATCs.

It includes popular items like the Christmas Dolls and Baby It’s Cold Outside Collage Sheets shown at left and right.

NEW Deery Snowy FREE Gift Kit!

In honor of all the new Christmas items by Tim Holtz below (including some cute little deer), ALL ORDERS on Sunday, Monday AND Tuesday, October 16th through 18th (2016) will receive a Deery Snowy FREE Gift Kit including one of the new Snowy Winter Scenes with Deer Collage Sheets, PLUS reindeer and snowflake wooden shapes, and a pinch of the ever-popular Mini Snowflake Sequin Mix!

AND those wooden items are on sale for 50% off, too! Learn more

I know! That Rhonda is on a roll! Just a week since last Sunday’s Do Not Disturb The Dead: They Will Haunt Your Dreams, now we have this wonderful A Visit to the Old Cemetery. (Check out the wide photo below, too.)

And that crazy girl: she lit her book cover on fire! I don’t think she meant to burn her skeleton, and luckily he still looks pretty good after the flames.

Rhonda used the Album with Arched Door as the book pages… except for that green archway (below) I wouldn’t have recognized it. I love how Rhonda enlarged images from the Cemetery ATCs Collage Sheet to give each of the chipboard tombs a background.

And those new wings on her cover skeleton look great! (There are 3 sets of wings in that set, so the ones I’m holding in the photo below are different than the set on Rhonda’s book cover.)

Here’s a bit from Rhonda’s blog post, but you’ll want to spend some time there, as she included some beautiful photos of cemeteries that inspired her project.

Some folks are terrified of old cemeteries. Not me. I love the history you can find and the stories from the past. Especially in the South, places like Charleston, Savannah, and Edisto Island. When I know I will be close to one, it’s time to do some research to plan which graves I will be visiting.

Read more of Rhonda’s story on her blog post, and see her full Supply List.

Psst! Check below, too, ’cause lot of items from Rhonda’s supply list are included in today’s GIVEAWAY!

Next up are some quick and easy place cards for some imaginary dinner guests by Design Team Member Betsy Skagen using the new Tetes De Mort Cling Stamp!

There was a time when I needed place cards because I regularly hosted dinner parties.

That however was a long, long time ago. That was back when I religiously memorized every issue of Martha Stewart Living.

Then life changed. Martha donned her Orange is the New Black party clothes and my life became consumed by family health care needs.

Sadly, nowadays my guest list is purely imaginary. But hey! At least my imaginary guests will have place cards to die for!

Be sure to visit Betsy’s blog for lots more info and a step-by-step tutorial!

Congratulations Patrick! I have to admit that I am super envious of this amazing prize package that you won but hope you enjoy creating with it!!
I think I would use these goodies to create a haunted funeral home with a cremation building to go along with my skeleton office and funeral carriage scene! By the time I am done I am going to have the entire funeral/burial scene! LOL

  2. Jenny Bumb says:

It would have to be a scary skeleton head wrapped in gauze which has been tinted black. He will be peering out of the album door, and perhaps some other scary creatures in front of the door album. So many ideas, so little time.
