A Wee Sewist’s Shrine by Nichola Battilana
Starting with the dress form (that looks fab gesso’ed white) in Nichola’s cute-as-cute-can-be shrine!
I’m going to quote from Nichola’s blog post, and add a few comments of my own.
I’ve used an Altoids tin for the body of the shrine, and the lid is being used as the base. I’ve used an old chess piece as the stand, but an old spool would work well too.
First off: it’s amazing how simple the items are that Nichola whipped up into this frothy deliciousness: An Altoids Tin, some spools, a plastic dress form, and some buttons. Plus a chipboard roof (with a snip of lace) and scallopy insert; and some paper. That’s about it.
The tiny side table is made by gluing a flat round wooden bead atop a wooden finial. On top there are Tiny Thread Spools and a snip from the Mini Button Cards Half Sheet.

Her Own Little Dress Shop by Rhonda Secrist
Lots of details inside an altered tin (using the A Tiny French Dress Shop Collage Sheet, one of the Altoids Tin Facades, and chipboard paper dolls AND dress forms from the TWO back-in-stock sets shown below).
The back of the dress shop is on the right side, with a round window on the roof (and how cute to make a chimney from measuring tape)!
Rhonda includes a tutorial on bending strips of paper to form a 3D skirt for the dress form (you can see it reflected in the mirror).
