A few new items (and eye candy) — with a new sale!

Starting with this revised Vintage Truck Ornament Set! Updated to include the whole set (2 flat truck shapes with window cut-outs plus the 3D box to sandwich for an ornament with room for items in the truck bed). And see the adorable Otis Brings Home the Tree ornament below, by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel.

Next up: the back-in-stock Ornament Size Chipboard Sleigh and Set of Flying Reindeer were used in 2 cute projects. First is this amazing (mechanical) sleigh called Reindeer Do Fly by Caroline Ouzts-Hay. You can visit Caroline’s blog to see how she created the flying mechanism, and to see the reindeer in flight; along with more photos. (Note: use my supply list link as her post was before we moved the site.) For a simpler project, here’s Nichola Battilana’s Flying Reindeer Sleigh Ornament (more like a centerpiece or decor for a mantel… and those reindeer have a wired harness so they are in mid-air). Nichola filled that bag of Christmas loot with miniature gift boxes made from collage sheets (included in the sale, too)! Here’s a link to Nichola’s supplies.


Finally: this lovely Little Christmas Cabin in the Woods by Teri Calia! That back-in-stock Red Victorian Armchair inspired me to revisit this room box. Plus note there’s a new Unfinished Side Table w Cabriole Legs (also shown in the row of products below) that would work well as a substitute for the little table with drawer on the left. Look at that tiny little sleigh! It’s so easy to put together with only seven little pieces. I used a metallic gold paint pen I purchased at Michael’s to color all the pieces before I glued it together. Then I used a fine red glass glitter to add color to the sides. A few pieces of Mini Pine Fern and three cards from Christmas Wrap & Cards Collage Sheet and it’s all done and looking super festive. The advent calendar has a lot more than seven pieces but it is still pretty easy to put together. Just make sure to give it a dry run before gluing it together as the side cubby divider pieces are nearly but not exactly the same size as the top and bottom cubby pieces and are NOT interchangeable. If you get them mixed up you won’t be able to put the outside edges on correctly. The Tiny Advent Calendar Collage Sheet makes finishing this miniature calendar a breeze!
