Design Team Member Shannon Cooper created this lovely Field Notes Mini Folio (see the wide photos below) from the Journal Cover that’s included in the Botanical Journal Kit (and she also used bunches of related papers and collage sheets).
Shannon added 3 pockets across the inside of the Journal Cover (the pockets on far left and right with the angled tops are made from ATC-sized collage cards included in the Herbarium 12×12 Paper Set (one is also duplicated on the A4 size sheet included in the kit).

The little notebook below is “just” the center booklet from the photo above. It is FILLED with tons of cute images and pages with pockets & envelopes (and tags). PLUS Shannon includes tons of tutorial pics on her blog post for making your own!

Wow again! Shannon’s field notes botanical journal just immediately grabbed my imagination – I imagined a place to gather all the flat botanical goodies I gather from my own yard as well as the neighborhood…and the pieces of fern frond, those curves could be interpreted for an array of little artworks! Time to get my paper scissors out! Happy Holidays.

Spring has sprung this week in CT! Yesterday it was in the low 30’s and today was 60! Not good for global warming, but it was a nice treat.
