Miniature Halloween Market Stand by Guest Designer Connie Littell!

Sweet! First: do you remember the adorable Alice Teapot Tea Party that Connie made for us? It was a tiny tea party scene INSIDE a teapot-shaped shrine. And… as there’s a new sale on ALL Niche Shrines: both today’s new shrine AND that teapot shrine are both on sale!

So back to today’s fab art AND a new shrine: Small Rectangular Niche with Shelves. This new shrine is similar to the Cabana House Niche Shrine: sized to fit the Market Stall Niche Add-On. 5 pieces (front facade, the niche shadowbox, solid back, 2 shelves). You can use 1, 2 or none of the shelves. And I gotta say: this combo with the shrine and the market stall would be perfect for a Christmas market project, too!

But back to HALLOWEEN! Here’s an intro from Connie’s blog post (and she provides tons of how-to photos!):

I have another project for Alpha Stamps today, one that is perfect for the season. This little stand works perfectly for a Halloween sweet treats market booth. I could see using this piece for so many different projects — a hot chocolate stand, Christmas market stall, farmer’s market stand, bakery pop-up, the possibilities are endless!

I started this project by making a platform from a House Ornament Base and a Small Brick Wall Stencil. After stabilizing the stencil with painter’s tape, I applied texture paste with a palette knife.

[Aside: see below for a preview of the tutorial on Connie’s blog post. And I’m skipping more steps about painting the bricks that are in Connie’s post.]

The market is made from a Small Rectangular Niche with Shelves. It comes with a front, back, niche and two little shelves (I only used one for this project).

The Market Stall Niche Add-On has a floor, facade, counter and two small connector pieces. I covered the floor in striped paper and the facade in a candy-collage paper (both from the Halloween Market 6×6 Paper Pad); the facade also has an Orange Pumpkin Border.

Great job, Connie!! See the second wide photo below for a preview of ALL of those tiny treats Connie made to fill her maket! I particularly love the candied eyeballs and the custom bat shelf she built for the back wall!

You can see more photos on Connie’s blog post. And here’s her supply list, too!

What else is new or back in stock today?

Beside the Small Rectangular Niche with Shelves above, LOTS of TINY Christmas things (and most of them would fit in the new niche, too! See all the new items here.
