Ah… before showing off this lovely Secret English Garden tin by Design Team Member Rhonda Thomas, I want to show off the new paper she used: English Garden 6×6 Paper Pad!

So pretty! It contains 40 pages printed on heavyweight cardstock (4 each of 10 double-sided sheets) with elegant pearlescent and spot-varnish effects.

Plus the inner front and back covers are printed with extra ephemera elements.

And I just have to say: with the current state of international cargo flights, getting more of the pads (from the UK) is going to be awhile!

A Secret English Garden by Rhonda Thomas!

So sweet! I love how the 2 tin inserts look “whitewashed” — and that couple look soooo English! Rhonda’s tin has a completely different look than Kristin’s (from the last newsletter), even though they both started with the same Secret Garden Kit!

Welcome to my “Secret English Garden”. Before I even knew where I was going to go with this project, I fell in love with these gorgeous papers from the English Garden 6×6 Paper Pad. The soft colors just swept me away and I knew I needed to create something with them.

Do you notice all of the pretty ferns growing happily in the Secret Garden? I have always loved ferns so this Rock Fern Punch is perfect for me.

When I was sharpening my Rock Fern Punch using aluminum foil, I noticed how pretty the shiny pieces looked, so of course I wasn’t going to just throw them away. Sure enough, they came in handy for my mini water fountain. It’s like shimmering water sparkling in the sun.
