Odds & Ends and Sale on ALL Digitals
Filed under Back in Stock, Digital Images, Kristin Batsel, Laura Carson, Miniatures, Moroccan Doorways Kit, Sale
OK… no avoiding this. This feels like it’s gonna be a long one. A long break? Incarceration? I should find a moderate word between those 2, but I’m not.
So I’ve put ALL the digitals on sale: collage sheets (digital downloads only but wow! there are over 1300 options!) and digital images (singles or sets in PNG format) on sale at 50% off. If you’re locked away (as we all should be… and: wash your hands!) you can grab a quick digital image to work on an art project and forget for a bit.
Today is a bit of an Odds & Ends newsletter. There are definitely some gems… new little things that didn’t fit in with a recent theme so got forgotten. (And most of them are miniatures!)
And, in honor of the current month’s Moroccan Doorways Kit I tracked down some amazing art from a related swap we hosted a zillion years ago (2013 to be specific, which seems like an eternity these days… I mean, last week seems month’s ago).
I’ll stop babbling: let’s start with the new goodies!
What is new today?
New and ONE item back in stock that is soooo wonderful: the Ceramic Tea Cup & Saucer Set w Hearts! Even more wonderful as I received them the day before outgoing mail from Thailand was put on indefinite hold. Plus TWO paper sets that have a somewhat shared palette: and FUN retro images! Happy Hour 12×12 Collection Kit and Mid-Century Modern 12×12 Collection Kit!
Artwork?
Of course there’s artwork! As I mentioned above, there was an Arabian Nights Framed ATC Swap back in 2013. I’ve picked out 2 projects from that swap (by 2 Design Team Members). Luckily, quite a few items they used in their projects are still available — and the Moroccan Doorways Kit includes the house shape with window and the onion dome shape used in both projects!
First, there’s this Aladdin Shrine (at left) by Kristin Batsel! How cute it that! Kristin used images from a bunch of collage sheets (and a kitchen match as a flagpole on top)!
Plus Kristin added the Curtains Die-Cut Chipboard Set and Valance Curtain Die-Cut Chipboard (the curtains adding width on the sides and covered with fancy peacocks from the Pink Elephants Collage Sheet; and the valance across the bottom covered in bright blue paper). See everything in her supply list.
Next, there’s the beautiful Arabian Nights ATC (below) by Laura Carson! So sultry! Laura used the same house frame and onion dome topper as Kristin, and even the same rust-colored background image (with a whole different effect).
I love the fussy cut red and turquoise blue frame (and the lanterns: from the same collage sheet as that sultry babe). And don’t forget: the digital versions of ALL collage sheets are currently on sale! See everything in Laura’s supply list.
Hooray for the Arabian Nights ATCs Giveaway!
Oooh! A special treat today: One lucky winner will get one of the Moroccan Doorways Kits PLUS all the extra items from BOTH of the art projects!
That’s mostly a gaggle of extra collage sheets (and the chipboard curtains mentioned) but I’m adding a Narrow Gold Fleur Dresden Borders to mimic the trim around the edges of Laura’s project.
I’m also adding a couple metal filigree options, as the findings Kristin and Laura used are no longer available:
– Ornate Brass Teardrops
– Raw Brass Fancy Fleur de Lys
