Before I show off Design Team Member Lora Mahaffey’s fun Fruit Bats (!), here’s a new paper pad I’ve been pining over: Greatest Show 12×12 Paper Pad. 1 sheet each of 12 double-sided designs (each sheet is a different design). Fresh Fruits and the Bats Who Love Them by Lora Mahaffey!

Ha! I love Lora’s witty little book (and her sense of humor)!

Forgive my photos if you can’t read the text: the subtitle on the cover at left is:
“A casual study of the relationship between bats and fruit and why they are so darn cute (bats) and tasty (fruit).”

Another witty quote shown below (left side: for the Cherry Bat):
“Chiroptera Cerasum, the “Cherry Bat” is famous for their voracious foraging for cherry pits, which they like to whittle into tiny beads with their sharp little fangs.” 🙂

I like how Lora uses the butterfly clip from the kit to keep extra labels and fruit postage at the ready for future use (top right corner of the same wide photo below).

Lora also includes photos showing how she covered the chipboard tabbed pages with scrapbook paper (and colored the tabs black with a Sharpie — super easy!), plus more pics on how to create a cover collage in her blog post. Here’s a link to her supply list, too.
