Lover’s Tryst Theatre – and Spring Flowers Sale

Design Team Member Tristan Robin Blakeman has created a lovely, lovely Valentine-themed theatre; inspired by the January Amour Kit.
“For my Lover’s Tryst Theatre, I started with Alpha Stamps’ Gatefold Triptych Shrine Blank and chose the Gatefold Square Shrine Curtains to cover it with. Adding lots of chipboard, papers and flowers created a much larger and more elaborate scene than the original triptych.
“Sitting on top of the display pedestals are adorable miniature terra cotta flower pots filled with paper flowers.”
(I love the cute little pedestals (under the pink flower pots) that Tristan made from the window pane images in the Oddities Box Doors and Windows Collage Sheet and some White Half Round Dresden. See the lower left close-up in the photos at right.)
“The two Valentine lovers are meeting in the garden, over a fresh pot of flowers (Fancy Red Holly Berries that Tristan turned pink with a little bit of paint). The final touch for the Lover’s Tryst Theatre is a bit of decadent Sweeper Fringe.”

Breath-taking! I am in such awe of the design team. I love the little flower pots. I’d add some long types of flowers to the Paper Flowers collection–lavender, calla lilies, gladioli. They would be great to use in miniature containers for other garden projects. And some drapey vines too, especially sweet potato vines.
Would love to win! Not my normal style so would love to step out of the box and make something so ‘fancy’!!

Love Tristan’s theatre. I would love to see even smaller flowers. I look everywhere for flowers for my 1:12 scale houses and the ones I find are either all plastic or too large.

I would like to see more tiny flowers (same size as the tiny rosebuds). I love the idea of the taller flowers too-lilies, gladiola, etc.

I think more miniature vines would be great and I would love some orchids!
Orchids, Iris, and anything dark in color. I find it hard to find black or grey flowers.

love the look of spring flowers at the precious theater. I think of pansies,violets,crocus,tulips in spring.
WOW…that’s an incredible display, so much to take in. I’d love to see little birds, not the cheap plastic looking ones, but perhaps ones made with cotton batting.

Your paper flower collection is quite good. What is missing, though,
is tiny mulberry flowers suitable for paper doll hats, lapels, etc. You
have a great selection of tiny roses, but no other kinds of tiny flowers.

Wow, there is so much wonderful stuff in the paper flower section! I would add some pretty miniature flower pots, or pretty masking tape to wrap around the stems for a bouquet. Tissue paper or thin wrapping paper to use for wrapping your bouquet in also. I love flowers that come wrapped in paper more than flowers in a vase. I just love the sound the paper makes! Thanks for the chance to win!

The additions I would like to see to the paper flower section is many more mini flowers and leaves. I have a hard time knowing the difference between mini, tiny, and small. Perhaps you could

Love the paper flowers, any in purple would be fabulous.
I believe the addition of various types of flower pots would be great! There are different materials and those that display in different ways. Even the upside down tomato plant grower pot. Strawberry pots, even strawberry rings, the shape of the area strawberries are grown in. Thanks!
