Note: most of the links on this post no longer work, as we moved to a new Web site in 2018. However, if you’re interested in the Potion Bottles Giveaway, see the bottom of this page or go here.
Before Miz Bella announces our latest Design Team Member(!) a quick note to point out that our new FREE Gift with Order is highlighted down in the Potion Bottles Giveaway section. Thanks!
We are super excited to announce that Tristan Robin Blakeman, the Glitterazzi King himself has finally agreed to become a member of the Alpha Stamps Design Team! You may remember Tristan’s delightful bio from when he was a Guest Designer last year:
“I am the world’s oldest child, still getting the same thrill I got as a boy playing with colors, shapes and textures. I loves to create miniature stages, merry-go-rounds, dancers, faeries, storybook characters and tributes to old movie stars. Long believing more is more when it comes to color and dazzle, I think I would be happy if I were a wedding cake! Often I prefer working with my dog, Brando, snuggled at my feet. When it comes to collecting, favorites are “Wizard of Oz” and “Alice in Wonderland” memorabilia, as well as water ballet portraits of Esther Williams. Lastly, I live life according to my credo to the fullest: “Sparkle! Shimmer! Glimmer! Gleam!”
Tristan’s has jumped in this month creating two projects. The first project was created with the Magic Potions Kit and is a cute little Magic Spell Chest that houses a tiny little Rare Oddities Book (only 1-1/2″ tall). Hmm. Sounds like Tristan has been poking around Mockingbird Manor…
Used on and in the Small Tin is the Rare Oddities 6×6 Paper Pad, a Mini Whisky Bottle (that Tristan “filled up” with Alcohol Ink) and the tin is resting on glittered Round Wooden Balls. Easy, quick and did I mention how precioussss it was sitting upon on those little glittered balls?
Tristan’s second project (photos at right and below), the Secret Box Book came from the Secret Spell Book Box Kit and he decided to take a different route with this one:
“I decided that since there was so much time before Hallowe’en, I’d have plenty of opportunity for spiders and things that are creepy crawly and go “boo” in the night. So, I decided to make a white Magic Potions book and concentrate on doing white magic — like finding my neighbor’s dog — or helping Cinderella get that shoe back on. I covered the book with ivory/white paper and trim and added the Pentagram Charm and a face from the Relics and Artifacts Figureheads set at Alpha Stamps along with a few metal embellishments from my own stash.”
When you pull the secret drawer out from the side of the box, there’s a Book of Shadows and Spells inside (a book inside a book) made from the Secret Spell Book Parts Two Collage Sheet (and every page is a pocket with a spell slipped in). On the top shelf of the secret drawer are Tiny Glass Bottles, a Ghoulish Green Jar, a Gargoyle, a Raven and other little hidden bits and bobs.
Check out Tristan’s supply list, then kick those brooms into high gear and welcome Tristin to the Design Team over at his blog. But(!): Be forewarned — you will find yourself spending quite a bit of time there scrolling through all of his other fabulous posts! (Psst! Tristan also provided a list of his favorite Product Picks.)

I don’t have any ideas for other bottles – but these sure are cute.

There is always something to do with all the bottles, any size is wonderful!
I still want to make an apothecary book!
ARE there any other sizes of little bottles?? Lol! I like a previous poster’s suggestion for more colors/shapes- maybe some sort of RAINBOW project! Seriously though, I have a question for everyone? What do you do with finished projects, when you’re done displaying them and on to the next? Gift them, keep them, sell them?…
Love the potion bottle giveaway. You have so many bottles already. Maybe a weird shaped bottle like a lady torso.
I love tiny bottles of every size, so really, you can never have too many options… Collect all the bottles!
It would be neat to see little bottles with glass stoppers instead of cork, if they make them. 🙂
Whiskey bottles, lots and lots in different sizes. Then I can make a shrine for my favorite drink.
I am making an apothecary cabinet for a doctor and would love to have any size bottle an inch and below.
Does anyone know of a source for a miniature mortar and pestle that is at least 1″? I can only find the really, really teeny ones.
First, congrats to Tristan. I know him and in fact, he is on another team that I coordinate. Awesome artist!
I think you’ve pretty much got bottle sized covered. I’ve saved this newsletter so when I have some money, I can order a few.
Tiny bubble
OK! This gets me goin’- so many options. I like the glass bottles best and I love a variety of shapes and colors. Love the idea of a variety of stoppers also.
I love these bottles and love that they come in different colors. I would also like to see a tiny, small and medium set of test tubes. It would also be great to see miniature specimen jars with &/or without specimens.
First. Comment! I have been subscribing for a while and have enjoyed both your posts, links and products! I like to make 1:12 scale doll miniatures and hope to make a Lady’s shop with a perfume counter.
Bottles of tiny size in a variety of shapes and colors are the best.
As are beads, bead caps and other findings to create perfume displays. Thank you very much for the constant delight and fun.
I love this assortment of potion bottles! We are always in search of bottles for our Alice in Wonderland Collection and our Captured Faery collection, so would love to wind this give-away!
I seem to be in the hunt foe some of the
Same things mentioned by others – I’m looking for chemistry-like items- tiny mortar and pestle, test tubes, – I have purchased a lot from you but still need more chemistry lab items.
Gotta have the tiny bottles.
Love your products. And love this set.
tiny thin bottles perhaps with colored glass
You have so manly bottles, I can be happy for a long while. But there are always more types. The chemistry ones sound fun. My son-in-law is a science teacher. I could make him shadow box using the periodical table with the bottles you come up with.
I love Robin’s art! he is one talented creative! Thank you so much for guesting him!!
With those cute little labels, I want to put on a chain and wear those bottles on a necklace or earrings. There are so cute
spring flowers, autumn leaves and Christmas all in in package!
I love working with tiny bottles! You have such an awesome variety of sizes, and it’s really hard to find some of them!
I love the tiny bottles. Ive ordered a bunch! Fun, Fun!
adore these bottles, so fun!
Love them all at 1-2 inches tall. More fun shapes, hearts, oval, more squares, awesome!
~kim
Tiny bottles are the best! I hoard and treasure every one that comes my way. I especially love the green resin perfume bottles that look like Chanel No. 5 bottles. It would be so cool if they also came in clear and blue for my dollhouse vanities.
I love the tiny bottles and the tiny labels, the sizes are great.
I love bottles of any size. Colored glass is my favorite! Thanks for the chance to win!
Obviously we all love little bottles! What is there not to love?
I really feel in love with both artists take on the book box they were really beautiful. As for the different types of bottles, the smaller the better! Im definitely partial to unique shapes and sizes, I fell in love with the whiskey type bottles and the new amber ones that are round on top. Just love them.
I think I would like to see some big bottles. Maybe make some potion bottles for Halloween. Thanks for the giveaway. Even if I don’t win they are fun to play. Lisa
Love the tiny bottles and the potion spell book – I think the sizes are great though if we had some bigger ones that we could put things in, that would be cool too.
Tristan is as talented as the other designers.
I think the tinier the bottles the better…
Maybe some bottles that are a little different in shape and color? Although I love the ones you have and I think this book for good magic is one of my favorite things I’ve seen so far!
Any size bottles would be great.
Especially blue.
Thanks, Alpha Stamps for the chance to win.
You have so many bottles it is hard to think of something else to ask for! Like so many others, I have a love for little bottles- the little brass one from the last project was such a neat one- maybe some other little metal ones, some faceted ones, maybe some other colors- deep gray, black, the dark red of old medicine bottles. All I know is I just love everything about this kit!
I think you have one of the best selections of mini bottles; love the variety! One thing I am always trying to do is age the clear glass so they have a “milky” look. Maybe stock a bottle that already looks that way? Very exciting news about your Halloween stock coming in…my favorite time of year!!
Hello Mini Bottles,
I fell in love with the tiny square “ink bottle”, (with black bead cap) I saw in this month’s Magic Potions Kit. I looked on your site and didn’t see this bottle. I’m kind of obsessed with the tiny bottles! It would be really cool to be able to order this unique tiny gem. I was thinking of using a tapered crystal bead for a stopper or a resin or glass trumpet flower with a rhinestone center as a cap…oh the possibilities, let the creativity begin!
While we’re talking “Even Tinier”, the Amber Even Tinier” bottle would be awesome in a few different colors or just clear and we could make our own colors. Also I love the new small square amber/blue bottles. Do they make “Even Tinier” of this bottle…yes please, I’ll take two. ☺

It would be great fun to receive the potion bottles. I’ve never worked with bottles and woukd like to try. So I don’t have ideas for other sizes but maybe I will after some experimenting! Congrats on adding Tristan, he’s pretty amazing. Xo
Larger bottles! I want to try adding a metal filigree overlay to give them an exotic feel.
Tiny purple bottles would be awesome- thanks!
You know those French perfume bottles that have a tiny neck and a billowed out body wide but narrow? In a craft size. Those would be cool.
How wonderful to see Tristan joining the amazing DT here at Alpha Stamps! And I’d love to see some slightly larger bottles at Alpha Stamps, tiny is fun but finding a size between the tiny bottles and say test tube size can be challenging. Thanks for the opportunity to win this great giveaway!
BOTTLES BOTTLES!!! ANY TINY BOTTLE, I CANT HELP BUT JUST STARE AT IT! They are so unique and just a tiny bottle is so much fun in a BIG WAY!!!
What a wonderful selection of tiny bottles! Love the different shapes, sizes and colors, especially the cobalt ones I saw on your site. Would love more shapes and sizes of those. Thanks for stocking so many cool art goodies!
You have a good assortment of bottle sizes, and I would like to see tiny blue bottles, or any unusual shaped bottles.
