New Retro ’50s Collage Sheets & Shrine, plus a FLASH SALE!

FLASH SALE! I was inspired by all the crazy colors and retro housewives in Teri’s artwork, so the ENTIRE Household Charms Section is On Sale! (Note: These items are a little broad for the word “charms,” lots of items for hearth & home are grouped here!) Bunches of new things have been added to this section — over 50 items On Sale! Some new things are highlighted below (like that fab cocktail shaker)! Those little Miniature Wine Bottles at right are also included in today’s Giveaway! Today we have dueling artists, Design Team Member Kristin Batsel and Teri Calia fussing over who is going to put their bon-bons down first to get up and change the channel!
Both Kristin and Teri used the same (New and On Sale!) Altered Metal Television that comes already nice and distressed in a cool retro-blue color, and both have completely different themes.
Kristin created Ocean TV and went with the Mermaid Kit theme and has the Small Coral Die Cut Chipboard Set all glittered up with some Christmas Red Stickles. Pretty clever use and placement of the Blue Sea Glass to mimic waves around the dancing mermaids from the Caribbean Blue Collage Sheet.

Teri created a Kitschy Bitch TV Shrine along with two new Collage Sheets, Kitschy Vintage Advertisements and Vintage Vixens!
She also used one of my favorite color palettes: red, turquoise and black. AND don’t you think that the Tim Holtz Letterpress Wood Letters are a perfect match for the Altered Metal Television? KITSCHY spelled out on top of the TV with the Tiny Silver Crown on top of the ‘K’ is so cute! The (New!) Asparagus Fern Garland sets everything off nicely as well.

I would probably make a collage to honor my Mom’s lifestyle! An homage to simpler but more difficult time for non- domesticated women!
Wow…I’d have a blast making a big Party scene with all these great goodies…you know the kind, where all the neighbors get together and all the wives are pitching in, fixin stuff to eat and lots of cooking and commotion going on…yes it would be a busy fun scene… 🙂

Not sure what I’d make – maybe use the retro TV and include reminders from my childhood like the miniature skillets!
The frames and collage sheets have me thinking Madmen like magnets so that’s probably what I would do.

LOVE all the minis in this week’s giveaway!! I would definitely have to make a television show for my Fairy Village! I think it will be a cooking show since there are mushrooms, the pans and wine bottles included in the giveaway! I think the Antique Bronze pendant will make a great serving tray for the final presentation of what’s cookin’!
I am also quite partial to the asparagus fern garland!! It will make great “parsley” and also just the thing that a Fairy would make a boa out of! What self-respecting Fairy doesn’t have a Fern Boa to wear with her apron and nothing else?

I’m a crazy housewife-6 animals will do that to you-so this delightful kit is just right for me. Might actually make something with my picture in it-old enough I had a TV like this one-that would work.
Love this kitschy give-a-way. I would probably use mine to make a retro shadow box and make jewelry with the left-overs. I would use every little bitty piece to make whatever pops into my kitschy brain. I think this is your greatest give-a-way for all us retro lovers.

I love all the wonderful colors, red, black, copper,and turquoise in this kit!!! And i think a small 50’s recipe book would fit nicely where the screen is!! But love the little TV and all the possibilities!!! Have to buy it!

It would be so appropo to make a paper bag journal and add retro family photos of my mother who ran in the very 1st International Pancake Day Race! They had to carry a fry pan with a pancake and flip it at 3 intervals during the race. They wore aprons and kerchiefs on their heads, so the time frame couldn’t be more perfect! And that tiny fry pan would be priceless! Pick me! Pick me!

Love this collection, the shrine would be cute in an old “easy-bake” oven too, I have a friend it would be perfect for.

Both of the altered metal TV creations are wonderful and show how versatile that TV is, love them! I am seeing a shadow box or canvas featuring the snarky housewives having a conflab over (several) bottles of wine about their philandering husbands that features the frying pans quite prominently!
