A Chocolate Box & Sweet New Pendants

A couple quick announcements before Miz Bella (Kim Ayers) introduces a sweet Valentine Chocolate Box by Caroline Ouzts-Hay.

Design Team Member Caroline Ouzts-Hay is celebrating Valentine’s Day with two of my favorite things — chocolate and a hand-made card! Caroline said:
“This is what every man should give their sweetheart (that or jewelry!). A custom decorated chocolate box and card. (I have to admit it was really hard for me not to eat those chocolates while I was decorating the box!) Alpha Stamps theme for this month is Star Crossed Lovers and y’all know how much I love using vintage images; there’s plenty to choose from in the kit. I decided to keep the card simple because I didn’t want it to overshadow the box; and I used a bunch of different papers from the Star Crossed Collection.”
Since the papers in the Star Crossed Lovers Kit and Add-On Kit had a lot of blue throughout it, Caroline ended up using the blue as a highlight on the box by painting the Wooden Heart with Distress Paints Broken China Blue.
Gorgeous Red Roses, a 4″ Gold Doily and sweet little Matte Acrylic Heart Beads wrap the whole presentation up quite nicely.

Hooray! A Chocolate Box Giveaway!
I decided to start this Giveaway with one of the Star-Crossed Lovers Add-On Kits! That includes 3 things in Caroline’s Valentine Chocolate Box supply list (Psst! that’s a link to a list all the items, with photos):
– Star-Crossed Stripe Scrapbook Paper
– Matte Acrylic Heart Bead Mix
– 18mm Matte Puffy Heart Beads
Next, I add these goodies (also used in Caroline’s artwork but not in the Add-On Kit):
– Vaguely Valentine Collage Sheet
– Red Roses Collage Sheet
– Souhaits Sinceres (Sincere Wishes) Collage Sheet (Shown at near right and just put On Sale!)
