Coffin Apothecary and FLASH SALE on Glass Bottles!

I love apothecaries. In fact my big dream is to move to England, live somewhere that is similar to the fictional Midsomer (yes as in Midsomer Murders because I LOVE English mysteries), open my own apothecary and in my spare time solve murder mysteries. Needless to say I am still trying to talk Slim Daddy into doing this. Anyways here I am off-topic already and this week my lovelies is a Laura Carson art project!
Are you ready? Brace yourself because Laura has created a Coffin Apothecary with Raven Doors AND a NEW Collage Sheet & Digital Image Set AND a VIDEO TUTORIAL! She is also upping her Halloween creep factor this year as well — ooooohhhh we love creepy here at Alpha Stamps. If only you knew how creepy we really are I’m sure you’d all go quite mad with envy.
I must say that I am all for a coffin shaped apothecary that has Black Chipboard Ravens for doors (see the coffin with the doors closed below at left), and Resin Skull Beads for the coffin feet. Not to mention the ravens/doors have eyeballs on them. We also love eyeballs here at Alpha Stamps (the better to stare at ordinary people with) and there are THREE different sized New and On Sale! Flat Back Eyeball Cabochons to chose from. (If you aren’t using them to create your own apothecary, you could always mount them on a the appropriate sized Bezel and make a pendant!)
More fun items (as well as things I love to hoard) in Laura’s Coffin Apothecary are the bottles. Loooove the Domed Apothecary Bottles, the Tiny Round Bottles, and if you can believe it: Even Tinier Bottles. OMG… did you see that Leslie just put the ENTIRE Glass Bottle Section on Sale?! Just today and tomorrow so get a move on!
Laura also used the Little Potions Collage Sheet to label the bottles she used. Other deas for the bottles: they make awfully cute Halloween pendants filled with Fiendish Fairy Farts (glitter), Dead Mens Toenails (dried onions) or even Naughty Children — Finely Ground (any spice will do!) Just make sure you glue the top into the bottle and then screw in an “eye” from the hardware store into the cork top. Ta-dah! Instant weird pendant to charm all of your friends with on Halloween or leave in random places.
Laura’s crepeldish Coffin Apothecary also has a video tutorial where she demonstrates how to assemble the coffin using a FREE coffin template AND there are also some free images for you to use in your apothecary!
