NEW Black Cats & Crooked Trees PLUS Christmas Treats; FREE Gift!
Filed under Christmas, Halloween, Kristin Batsel, Lora Mahaffey, Miniatures, Rhonda Secrist Thomas
Those simple yet versatile Valance Curtains are back in stock (photo at right). Originally designed for the House Shaped ATC Frame Set (shown at left with one of the Onion Domes) but there are THREE art examples showing using the valances with ATC Shrines instead (or with a shrine in addition to a house shape).
Lots more new goodies are below, too (including a new tree that looks great with the ATC Shrine).
There’s a preview of all 3 projects directly below… and don’t forget the supply lists for all are included in the new sale!

More New Supplies (and on sale)
Crooked Trees! How cute are these!? Your choice of 2 sizes (the smaller is approx. 4-1/2″ tall, the larger is 6″ tall). Use 2 (the same size or mixed heights) for an archway (maybe a forest for Little Red Riding Hood).
The smaller one is also shown at right over an ATC Shrine with Feet (yes, the same popular one in all the art examples).
Plus… starting to get ready for Christmas?!
TWO ATC Shrines (and a 3rd in a bit)
Kristin Batsel added a valance curtain to the bottom of an ATC Shrine (the valance was cropped a bit to fit the width) plus a big bunch of stars… and a vintage (kinda creepy) clown head at top from her stash.
Kristin’s Melancholy Circus is filled with morose children and their little dogs who are forced to perform in the circus, due to no ones fault but their own. Kristin says:
I was inspired by the thought of kids running away to join the circus, and then discovering that circus life is really not all it’s cracked up to be. Turns out it’s a Melancholy Circus: even the trick dogs are sad. Sorry, kids!
Note that Kristin tinted (and added red noses and circus hats) to monotone images from the Little Darlings and Little Imps Collage Sheets. I’ve also added the Vintage Circus Children Collage Sheet as an alternate source (they could still use some red noses)!
Visit the Kristin’s blog post for more photos! But use this link for her supply list.
How’s this for a contrasting style! I love this fancy Musique Céleste Hutch by Rhonda Secrist, using TWO of the onion domes (the same dome shape used at top and bottom) and THREE of the valance curtains (top and both sides).
Here’s Rhonda’s supply list. (Bonus: I added some newer Dresden trims and brass charms.)

NEW: Mini Shrines & Spooky Trees SALE
Here’s that promised 3rd project, Mr. Beed attends the Shenanigans! Ahhh, the effervescent Mr. & Mrs. Beed straight from the curdled mind of Lora Mahaffey. Each in their own shrine since their big personalities don’t allow for them to both be in the same space. Clearly you can see how much they are enjoying the festivities!
Lora also used the same Valance Curtain that Kristin used, only Lora used hers on the top which gives the Beeds’ shrines more of a cabinet type look. My favorite out of the two are Mr. Beed with his skelly balloon, but then again Mrs. Beed sitting there looking so stern and without an ounce of fun or smile in her withered old face is quite enchanting as well. The smiling Pumpkin Pod peeking out from behind her skirt is cute; perhaps it is laughing at Mrs. Beed’s charming party hat?
Visit the original blog post for more photos! But use this link for Lora’s full supply list.
Over 30 items are on sale, including some BONUS collage sheets (highlighted below): Those grumpy Mr. & Mrs. Beed images are from Lora’s stock, so I picked out some options for some spooky/grumpy/vintage photo shrines of your own!
There’s a new AUTOMATIC DISCOUNT for an extra 25% off the listed prices: you’ll see the discount in your cart — no code required!
The sale ends WEDNESDAY NIGHT, September 24th at midnight PST.
