Houses, Stars & Snowmen

I just brought back ALL EIGHT sizes of Mini House Shadowboxes and TINY House Shadowboxes! There’s tons of art options using them below, but first here’s my photo of a few new/old/back-in-stock items that fit in the houses. (The houses used are (L to R): Tiny Little Shadowbox Houses #2, Mini House Shadowbox #4 (repeated a 2nd time with the lamppost at far right) and Mini House Shadowbox #2.) Beside the new decorated tree, chubby snowman and starburst, I also used a back-in-stock Waving Snowman and LED Lamppost… AND a tiny sleigh, set of gifts with bows (psst: those are also in today’s free gift), and 2 trees w/o decor (a 3″ tree plus a tiny tree).

An Impish Convoy

Starting my selection of “cute art made with tiny houses” is this delightful group of rolling houses!
Nichola used Mini Houses numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 for the bases of her little caravan. The sweet children who wouldn’t dream of misbehaving are from the Little Imps and Little Darlings Collage Sheets.
Once you have your houses put together, painted, papered and full of glitter; it’s time to start embellishing! Lovely pink roses, mushrooms, leaves and stars are quick additions that you can add to gussy up your caravan with.
Before you think you’re done with your caravan — don’t forget to add your 1 Inch and 2 Inch Wheels. Otherwise your Imps won’t be going very far!
The new Flat-Back Gold Star Studs – Mixed Size Set at left are a close match to the stars Nichola sprinkled throughout her convoy.

Circus Town by Kristin Batsel
Kristin shows a great way to use the large and small version of the same shape in her project. (Those 2 links are for the chunkier houses from the series; Kristin also used the slightly slimmer Tiny Little Shadowbox Houses #3 — 2 of them of her array of 5.)

Even More Houses!
Mermaid’s Treasure Mini Houses by Shannon Cooper
Shannon used all FOUR of the Tiny Little Shadowbox Houses in her scene with a poor mermaid wondering what to do with a shoe.
Items worth noting that Shannon used (in no particular order) are the Victorian Dressing Table Set (with the hand mirror, comb, hairbrush, and tiny picture frame), silverware (LOVE the silverware chandelier!), passport, hanging utensils, and a child’s ball.

Little Houses, All in a Row by Kristin Batsel
That clever girl! Kristin used the backs of the tiny houses as canvases for some adorable imps (and I like the addition of little numbers from a set of rub-ons).
“I kept the open part simple (the flip side of the houses), because you never know what might find its way into one of these little houses. Around Easter time, it may be a family of rabbits. At other times, it could be any sort of thing, like a Frozen Charlotte or a miniature chalkware dog.”
