Some eye candy, too!
And a Giveaway!
Humpty Dumpty’s Afternoon by Design Team Member Shannon Cooper is so sweet!
When I saw the cute new Half Scale Antique Brick Flooring Paper (shown below — and in this Giveaway!) I thought of that tiny wall for Humpty Dumpty that Shannon made inside this tin.
Shannon actually used the brick pattern on the China Cabinet House Wallpapers Collage Sheet but don’t fret cuz I’m including everything from Shannon’s supply list in today’s Giveaway! 11 items! Plus that bonus new brick paper and the Tiny Paper Roses – Cream shown below (an option for the hand-made tissue paper roses that Shannon made)!
You can read more about the project in the original blog post. (Good tips are there, too, like: “I added the Ivy Corner Insert to the outside of the tin (vs under the lip on the inside) and covered the seam with brownish embroidery floss. Oh, and if you are wondering, the curly brown “sticks” are just several lengths of covered florist wire coiled around the spool base, then wrapped up the side of the tin.”)
To enter the Humpty Dumpty’s Afternoon Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, MONDAY Night, May 10, 2021).
And tell me: what will you make with these supplies?
Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.

Humpty Dumpty.
A great classic!
I can relate to Humpty! I too am slightly cracked. 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day to all!
So cute! I love this shrine!
I love the expression on his face.
Loving that papers with bricks, stones, and wood floors are available. Really impressed by Shannon’s miniature tissue roses – a fine finishing touch!
Oh, that somewhat stunned look on his face says it all! What fun! I simply LOVE what Shannon has done with Humpty- I would make one that I can enjoy every day, if I won the drawing- having Humpty sitting there, on my work table, giving me that look could prove quite fun! I am surrounded by “things and stuff” in my work room, but he most certainly would add to the atmosphere with that look! Of course, I give Shannon all the best- she’s an outstanding designer, artist and inspiration-provider! Thanks for the wonderful things on your site, and the inspiration!
Great project! Thank you for the chance to win! Hugs!
This brought so much joy just seeing it. I am amazed at those who have a wildly creative imagination. Thank you for inspiring so many.
So great ideas here. I love the Humpty Dumpty scene.
I love the roses and vines going up the tin. Stunning. I would love to recreate something like this!
Great Humpty Dumpty project. Love the brickwork.
I’ve always wondered how Humpty Dumpty became known as an egg, because it is not mentioned in the rhyme. But, I have always loved the classic look on the character and would make something similar to Shannon’s creation. Such a great giveaway!
Love that brick wall for Humpty! Fun scene! I’d love to make one like this!
I have a collection of multi media items that I made with “altoid” tins. This looks like another one to add to the collection!
Another great project! Happy Mothers Day!
It’s all about that ivy!
I love this so much!
Shannon does such creative work and has wonderful ideas.
Humpty looks quite content sitting on that brick wall, he’d better stay put!
I am making these as an invite to an “alice” party. Its just so adorable
So cute! It’s the leaves that inspire me on this one- so many ideas.
I will make a shrine inspired by your Humpty for one of my great-grandchildren. They love nursery rhymes! Thanks for the opportunity.
I love the shrine. While I’m not a big Humpty Dumpty fan I love the surroundings, and the wall; I’d replicate the treatment with a different theme–maybe “The Secret Garden”.
I just love this idea,!!
Adorable! I’m always looking for more ideas for tins.
Such a cute project! I would try and replicate it!
I love Shannon’s so I would make one like it.
So sweet! Love to make something similar in an Altoids tin!
Humpty would be a great addition to my granddaughter’s room!
Love all of the team’s miniatures!
This would be a great Mother’s Day gift!
Love Humpty Dumpty! 🥚🐣
Thanks for the “spark” using the florist wire. Flower stems for a journal page.
So many wonderful details on this! Thanks for the inspiration!
so cute!
HaH! this is hilarious! My wife often compares me to Humpty Dumpty because I sit so much during the day! I would love to surprise her with this giveaway so she could make something wonderful.
Maybe in the inspiration from my mom’s love for dragons. I’d make a mystical scene with a dragon on top of a castle. The flowers coming up the building and ivy, with a princess inside the window view of the box. However, I’m always changing ideas, but I think that would be an adorable scene. Plus, I do like what you did with Humpty Dumpty. ♥
I want to put Humpty together again!
Poor Humpty Dumpty let’s make him happy again!
I love anything in those tins! This one is a fun idea.
I’ve been working on a book of nursery poems. This would be perfect!
I love nursery rhymes and Humpty Dumpty in particular.
Humpty Dumpty is so cute! Would love to win.
So cute, would love to win.
