New Fruit Paradise Kit
Ah… summertime! This is a very colorful kit, filled with a mix of fruit, a bit of vintage French ephemera, and parts to make a miniature tabbed book!
Inspired by the new Fruit Paradise 6×6 Paper Pad: double-sided designs with a vintage fruit theme. Colorful yet French/romantic. And some butterflies mixed in with the lemons, cherries, pears, etc. (The kit includes 1 each of all SIX papers from the pad).
The kit also includes:
– a set of the new 3-page 3×4 Tabbed Book (note the size: the pages without the tabs are 3″ x 4″ so it’s a good size for including ATCs (bound into the book or attached to a tabbed page or tucked into a pocket)
– THREE new collage sheets all with a miniature fruit theme (note: that’s 3 of the SIX new collage sheets announced today!)
– 2 bronze 25mm binder rings & a bronze butterfly clip
– Resin embellishments (2 fruit cabs: strawberry and orange slice; and 1 each of 2 colors of leaves).
Whew. That’s TEN different items in this month’s kit!
And we’ve started a new benefit as part of being a kit subscriber:

The “Tutti-Frutti” Book by Rhonda Thomas!
Design Team Member Rhonda Thomas has made a such a cute, little (fun) book from the kit! And I love that photo of Carmen Miranda!
You can see the tiny size of the book from my photo of the coordinating pockets set you can see at right (one pocket with a slot at the very top, one with the slot on the side, and one with a more standard pocket half-way down the page).
From Rhonda’s blog post:
I love how the monthly kits over at Alpha Stamps can inspire you into directions that you never considered before. I love it even more when my project all seems to flow together with vintage goodies that I have collected over the years.
This past weekend, I just happened to come across this photo of Carmen Miranda while out treasure hunting and scooped it up because it was calling to me. Now I know why. Look at all of these fruit yummies!
I was suddenly hearing Carmen singing in my head as I began to create this cute vintage fruit 3×4 Tabbed Book. It is included in the July Kit along with these tasty Fruit Paradise 6×6 Papers.
