New Site!
Oh my, oh my, oh my… there is so much new news today!
Starting with: A NEW SITE! This has been such a long time coming, I cannot even tell you…
There are so many new features I made a “New Site Features” page to explain some highlights.
Note: the blog is still in its same location.
And don’t dismay! If you can’t find a product on the new site (that was on the old site), most likely it will be part of the store clearance happening later in July.
New Kit!
July already?! How did that happen? So we’re halfway to Christmas? (Sorry for mentioning.)
Ok: JULY! Vacation Memories is the name of this kit. Beside some nice, cool colors to help with the heat (and it is hot here today!) the papers and trims in this kit should be versatile for creating a gift or memento box with a theme from nostalgic to personal photos/memories.
Box? Yes! There’s a new Double Explosion Box that’s part of this kit: a set of laser-cut pieces (complete with score marks) for putting together a 3″ x 3″ gift box… with a surprise! The lid holds the pieces in place. When you remove the lid the box “explodes.” Maybe it’s a box to hold a gift inside? Maybe you’ll build a little scene in the center spot inside? (And check out Design Team Member Rhonda Secrist Thomas’ artwork below for a pretty sample using a mix of real seashells, shell charms, and illustrations of shells.)
Lots more goodies are included, too. Go see the new kit for more info.
New Artwork: Vintage Seaside Memory Box by Rhonda Secrist Thomas!
I love what Rhonda has created from this wee little chipboard box!
From Rhonda’s blog post:
There are two separate “boxes” that each flatten out to show lots of spaces to add art or happy memories. If you use both sides of the box and the bottom, that is 18 miniature canvases to work with, not to mention the included lid.
And check out that close-up of the little seashell scene in the center of the box (shown at left)! Love it! Rhonda used so many things: real shells, shell charms, and even molded clay shells using the new 7 Seashells Mold! (And a couple seahorses from the Seahorse Mold are on the box lid.)
Beside these 2 photos of Rhonda’s project, there’s another photo down in the Giveaway section, where you can enter to win EVERYTHING from Rhonda’s supply list! And be sure to visit Rhonda’s blog for more photos and tips.
New Products!
Just a snippet from the new products are shown at left (for example: there are lots of new shell charms not shown in that preview pic). Plus this new site has a couple ways to search:
– brand new items added this week are here (or click the photo at left for the same results)
or
– here are all of the items actually in the new kit
Hooray for the Vacation Memories Kit Giveaway!
There, that’s better! That photo shows the whole explosion box… exploded!
Yes, it’s true: EVERYTHING in Rhonda’s supply list is in today’s Giveaway! (21 items!) Here are a few more highlights from that multitude:
– Seaside Victorian Children Collage Sheet (vintage images of children happily playing at the beach)
– Beach Beauties Seashell Buttons Mix (a mix of sea shells, starfish and seahorse shaped buttons… Rhonda used them around the sides of the closed box)
– Wanderlust Printed Chipboard (includes that compass image on the box lid)
– 8mm Gold Flat-Back Glass Shell Cabochon (one of my faves from the new shell embellishments)
Note: if an item is duplicated in the Vacation Memories Kit (included in the Giveaway) and also listed separately in the supply list, I’m just including one of those items.
Click here to see everything in Rhonda’s supply list, which is also what’s in today’s Giveaway! Lots more goodies to see!

The whole creation is stunning and it truly evokes the feeling of being at the seashore! Great work Rhonda!
