With all the new charms and beads floating around here, everyone’s thinking up charm bracelet designs. The first (beautiful!) one is by Design Team Member Teri Calia. (There are lots of photos in the gallery — with links to all the products used — so you can see close-ups.) Here are some of the new things Teri used:

4mm Round Blue Glass or Amber Beads
Nice small size for things like the centers of flowers. The amber-colored ones are really amber; the blue are clear glass. Sets of 10.

6mm Round Copper Star Beads
6mm diameter. They’re cut out (so you can see through to the other side).

Copper Rope Beads
7mm diameter. Nicely detailed. Antiqued copper-plated pewter.

Amber Matte Glass Flower Bead Caps
Or just use as flower beads (not bead caps). Shown (far left) with an Olivine Faceted Bead.

Copper Glass Flowers
Imported Czech glass with metallic copper finish.

Bengal Spice Glass Flowers

11mm hurricane glass, imported from the Czech Republic. Hurricane glass is a combination of multiple glass colors that can change appearance and swirl pattern based on the conditions at the time of pressing. Each batch is unique and difficult to reproduce.

Ball-End Head Pins
Ornamental head pins with a ball-tip embellishment to add a decorative touch to the end of a bead or charm. Gold-, copper-, or silver-plated, 23-gauge brass wire; 2 inches with 1.5mm ball.

5mm Metal Rondelles
Dotted with 2mm balls. Antique gold-plated pewter, antique copper-plated pewter or antique pewter; 5mm diameter x 2mm.

Ophelia Charm Bracelet

This next (fabulous!) bracelet is by Design Team Coordinator Miz Bella. Some of the new things Bella used:

Pewter Skull with Rose
Antiqued lead-free pewter. Approx. 7/8″ tall.

Cherry “Quartz” Glass Flowers
Beautiful, large (18mm) roses.

Red Faceted, Fire-Polished Glass Beads
By request: brighter red beads in 10mm and 6mm sizes. The 10mm size come in sets of 4; the 6mm in sets of 8.

“Saints and Sinners” Bracelet

This final bracelet is by Teri Calia (and uses those gorgeous pewter skull charms again). One of the other new things Teri used:

Rosary Chain Yardage
I love the way Teri used a parallel string of rosary chain along with the silver (chain) charm bracelet.

On to the rosary chain: gorgeous chain by the yard (with imported Czech faceted glass beads) in 4 designs: Silver links with 4mm black beads; black links with 8mm mixed-amber/topaz beads; black links with 4mm garnet beads; silver links with 9mm iridescent blue beads (the one Teri used).

Both designed by Teri Calia

Memory Frame Starters
Lots of sizes, from square memory glass and inchies to slide glass (1″ x 3″ size). Good, basic images for backgrounds or primary images, from sheet music and Venus to odd Victorian medical advertisements. A portion shown at left.

A Charming Halloween
Lots of sizes, from memory glass and inchies to jewelry pendants (large ovals and hearts, and round and square small bracelet links). Lots of black cats, too.

Pewter Spider Charms
Antiqued lead-free pewter. Approx. 5/8″ tall. Single-sided (flat on the back).

Gypsy/Fortune Teller Ephemera & Transparencies Sets
The Ephemera Sets are large sets of die-cut ephemera repros in 2 designs (the cards vary from 2-1/2″ x 3-15/16″ to 4-3/4″ x 6-3/4″; 15 cards per set). Beautifully designed. And the cards are printed on both sides.

The Transparencies are sets of 6″ x 6″ printed acetate transparencies in 2 designs (each set has 6 different sheets). Beautifully designed. You can use just a small portion over another image in a pendant of an ATC.

2 Sets of Metal Number Tabs

Decorative numeral tabs in color or black-and-white. Fold over the edge of a book page and attach using the adhesive strips. The numbers are covered with slightly domed clear acrylic disks (that give them a nice, vintage look).

Curses Rubber Stamps
You never know when a postcard will need a warning. Choose from Fallen, Verboten, Wanton, Naughty, Blasphemy, Sinner, Wicked or Damned.

Miscellaneous

Patinaed Brass Sparrow & Branch
Antiqued brass with a beautiful vintage patina. The twig has no loops for connecting, but you can wrap it with matching Gun Metal Wire.

Wire on Spools

Speaking of gun metal wire, we now have “craft wire” (copper wire with a metal/colored coating) in 20, 24 and 28 gauges. All 3 gauges are available in gun metal, black, gold, copper, or silver. Bonus: most of these wires have an additional clear acrylic coating so that the color coating won’t be scratched when working with tools. (You can also coat the jaws of pliers using the “Tool Magic” rubber coating, to further ensure the colored coating doesn’t scratch.)

Antiqued Steel Chain
3x2mm flat cable links. The color works nicely with the Patinaed Brass Findings, Wire and Charms

5-Piece Plier Set
Color-coded set so you can find the right pliers easily. Pliers have polished steel heads and measure approximately 4-1/2″ from handle end to tips. Set includes round nosed pliers, chain nose pliers with cutter, flat nose pliers, bent chain nose pliers and side cutter pliers.

Red and Gold Metal Roses
More colors of the lightweight roses. Gorgeous, with a matte (pearl) finish. The red are 10mm (3/8″) wide. The gold ones are 6mm (1/4″) wide.

Red or Turquoise Clear Glass Flower Beads
Tiny little flowers (5mm), imported from the Czech Republic.

Blue/Gold Glass Flower Beads
Beautiful, large (15mm) glass flower beads. Imported Czech glass.

Memory Capsules

1″ x 1″ size; designed to fit Memory Frames and Glass. Package contains total 12 pieces; 3 each of 4 styles (circle, oval and 2 decorative-edged squares). Each piece is a 1″ x 1″ square with shaped, raised “dome” to encapsulate small dimensional objects (including glitter or sand or shells or small beads or charms or…). Made of clear plastic.

Glass/Shell/Pearl Bead Mix
A fairly large bag of mixed beads (1.4 oz).

Dyed Shell Disks
Blue or purple (dyed mussel shell; 10mm diameter). Sets of 20.

11mm, natural color with a vintage-looking rainbow iridescence. Washable and dry cleanable.

Small Gold Dresden Wings

Black Diamond Stickles Glitter Glue
New color of stickles for easily applying glitter to a collage without having to use another bottle of glue with your glitter. (used for the stripey socks on Teri Calia’s Paper Dolls)
