Yes, I’ve returned from the newsletter hiatus. For all of you who have not yet received your orders from the Move Sale, don’t despair: we’ve found new homes for the stock and are catching up at a good pace. And I’ve found such treasures while unpacking! Things that had gone astray or been forgotten have found each other (and new stock) and I couldn’t wait to show you the new themes that have emerged.

Jewelry/Flowers/Beads

Faceted, Fire-Polished Glass Beads
Gorgeous fire-polished Czech glass beads. The top (largest) photo shows 2 beautiful colors (Rosaline and Prairie Green) and are in 12mm (quite large) and 8mm sizes (shown with a Heart Pendant for size comparison). All 6 of the other colors are in 10mm and 6mm sizes. The Topaz is shown at left with a Medium Topaz Flower Bead.

Olivine Glass Leaves
3 sizes of clear or AB pressed glass beads. (Aurora Borealis (AB) coating is a half-coat metallic finish that adds a prismatic effect to the surface of the bead.) Similar to the leaf beads Guest Designer Barbe Saint John used in her necklace (at top right).

Glass Trumpet Flower Beads – in 3 Sizes:
Beautiful clear or milky or AB glass beads in many colors.

Glass Teardrop Beads – 5 New Colors:
Cobalt, Olivine, Aqua, Topaz, Brown (iridescent)

Opaque Blue Glass Flower Beads
Sweet little flowers (or rondelle spacers). Imported Czech glass beads. Approx 7mm diameter. The quiltie sample at left is by Design Team Member Frieda Oxenham using these blue flowers, the Quite Contrary #2 collage sheet and new Jewel Flowers in Tin (available in 2 color sets).

Lucite Flower Sets
Lightweight lucite/acrylic flower, butterfly & leaf sets. A mix of shapes & sizes and a mix of shiny & matte (and transparent & opaque). Colors: Lavender, Pink, Blue, Green.

Glass Leaf Charm Sets
Matte, pressed glass leaves with wire loops. Each set has 3 sizes and 2 colors (54 pieces per set). Colors: Peridot or Topaz.

Pearlized Stick Pins
Not long enough to be hat pins (because I know you wear a hat) but beautiful! The leaves come 50/package; the pearls are 30/package.

Magazines

Belle Armoire Jewelry Spring ’09
This edition features woven beads from felted yarn, freeform beadwork using memory wire, charms made from silver clay, dichroic glass focal beads and repetitively patterned polymer clay. Plus a feature article on the fabulous Thomas Mann.

Beautiful and inspiring hand-made handbags. Samples and instructions by contributing artists:

– Ornate Plates
Includes six ornate book plates and 12 fasteners. Plates are approx. 2-1/2" tall and come in 3 colors (and 2 designs).

– Mini Fasteners
99 mini fasteners (33 each in 3 colors) with faux phillips & slotted screw head tops. Really tiny (approx. 1/4" tall).

– Bead Chain & Link Chain Sets
The “Link Chain” set at left includes two 36″ chains (with 1/4" & 1/2" length links) and four toggle sets. The “Bead Chain” set (shown below) includes one 36″ chain (with huge beads – 1/4" diameter) and three toggle sets.

Tickets/Tags

2 Ticket Booklets (Tim Holtz)
Distressed, perforated tickets in 2 sizes. Nice detailing, like the numbers on the tickets increase by one for each ticket. The “Journaling Tickets” are larger (2″ x 3″); the “Adage Tickets” are smaller (1″ x 1-1/2") and have text printed on them, like “hope,” “adore” and “wish.” The sample is by Shannon Sawyer using the Funny Arms & Legs Collage Sheet (and Journaling Tickets) & images from the Poison & Pen & Ink Clear Stamp Sets.

Tickets Cling-Foam Mounted Stamp (Tim Holtz)
Vintage cinema/theatre tickets. One stamp (one collaged image; not separate tickets). Sized for an ATC background (2-1/2" x 3-1/2").

Salvage Stickers (Tim Holtz)
Booklet of cardstock stickers (214 stickers including letters, numbers, clocks, compasses and date wheels). Large (booklet is 12-3/4″ tall).

Vintage Tickets
From an unused roll (dead stock). Nicely distressed.

Travel Labels Book/CD
Nice selection of Art Deco images to cut out and/or print out from the CD. 18 pages, 150 images, 5 sample projects.

Cut N Paste ABC Tearpad
Booklet of perforated “stamps” (128 pieces: 4 complete alphabets + 4 additional sets of vowels). Coordinates with the “Cut N Paste” papers & stickers.

The Farmer’s Wife Journaling Cards
Set of 6 heavy cardstock cards (printed on the front, blank on the back). 2-1/2" x 4″ (give them a little haircut and they’d be perfect for ATCs). I love the cow card.

2 Vintage/Gypsy Tag Sets
The “Gypsy” set is shown at left. Each set has 2 each of 20 beautiful designs (20 tags in each set). 2-1/2" x 3-3/4″

Mini Classics Cling-Mounted Stamp Set (Tim Holtz) – new and on sale
Collaged stamps including the Mona Lisa, pen nibs, vintage stamps ad postage cancellations, a clock, eiffel tower, a rampant lion, calligraphy flourishes, etc.

Twelve (12) separate cling-mounted stamps. Each is sized for an ATC (the pen nib border is just under 2-1/2" wide). Comes on a plastic sheet (for storage). Overall size is 7″ x 8-1/2".

More Die-Cut Chipboard

Tombstones, Skullies, Silverware, Chess Pieces, Gears, Fleur-de-lis, Coffee Cups
Heavy chipboard (really heavy). With the success of the chipboard bird swap, I’ve been on the lookout for more options.

Ribbons

Wind them around a twig… thread them through a hat… who knows what uses you’ll find. The pearls are approx. 5 mm diameter.

Natural color with black printing. 3/8″ wide.

Jasmine Floral Twill Tape
Natural color with black & red printing. 1/2" wide cotton twill. Sold in full yards.

French Ribbon Sets (on wooden spools) – now on sale
Beautiful, imported French ribbons (taffeta with metallic edgings or threads woven into the pattern). 3 color combos. Each set has 3 ribbons (5/8″, 1″ & 1-1/2" – 1 yard of each) wrapped on a wooden spool.

Miscellaneous

Ornate Filigree (Silver or Copper)
Antiqued silver- or copper-plated brass. Beautifully detailed & flexible enough to be wrapped around a cabochon (with some pliers… not with your bare hands).

Clear Domed Acrylic Pebbles – 1/2" Size
They’re a tiny bit small, but once they’re glued down, they look perfect.

Silver Dangle Chains
Think of them as book jewelry. Lobster claw clasps with jump rings or with short chains for hanging beads & charms off of books (and with the clasps you can change them around at will).

Love Song Scrapbook Paper
12″ x 12″ sheet. Vintage sheet music printed in red ink.
