New Collage Sheets by Tallulah’s
Five new Collage Sheets from Tallulah’s vast collection of vintage photo postcards! The “Modern Romance” sheet (see example at right) would be fun to get a head start on making Valentines.
Some of these images are a little risque (and some of these sheets are all nudes), so be warned if you’re easily offended.
Lenna Andrews is hosting a Tallulah’s Vintage Postcard Swap and there are just a few spots left… artwork due to Lenna by March 22nd, 2008.
New Bind-it-all Wire Binding Machines
The Bind-it-All is a miniature wire-binding machine that will punch and bind, allowing you to create your own books, journals, calendars, etc. It uses full-size “double-O” wire binding spines, so the “miniature” in my description is only for the petite size of the machine, not for the results. (It is still a heavy-duty machine, and international shipping will be dear.)
It comes with an instruction booklet, an instructional video on a DVD, and a set of guides (for choosing which binding wire will work best with the thickness of the pages you’re binding AND for helping you to align long binding projects).
Binding wires in 3 sizes and 4 colors are available separately (all the wires come in packs of 2 and are 12″ long; there are also wire cutters for cutting the wires down to size for a small project).
Pre-cut heavy bookboard covers (1/16″ thick) and cardstock pages for creating 2 sizes of booklets are also available. (The covers come in sets of 2; the pages are in sets of 10 and are available in cream or black.) The 4.1″ x 4.1″ covers would be prefect for binding a chunky book. The 7.5″ x 5″ covers can be used for a horizontal or vertical book (the Bind-it-all can punch thru bookboard).
The Christmas book at right was made by Miz Bella using one of the red binding wires. The calendar is by Lenna Andrews. Larger pics of both can be seen on the site.
